Placed the order on 8 of June (Wed), received it on 13 of June Monday, used from 14th to 17th of June in the evening after the crackling sound they stopped working. I tried them with different earphones I have with me but only one ear is working. And then I come to know they came without warranty wow... I just paid 1000 bucks for four days. 250 bucks a day. worst product I ever purchased it came like a 99Rs product with a scratch on it. I ignored the scratch with when product stopped working it. I was confirmed it worth not more than 99 Rs .. don't buy it... you never know when it will stop working. It like buying a product from a chor bazar in delhi.

I bought my Abigail 1month ago and now it is not working properly and headphonezone don't even give 2-3month warranty on the product . And now my 1000rs got wasted and i have to new one and then that one also work stop after 1month .

Here's why I bought this product: My old laptop's 3.5mm port failed me. Hence I was using my monitor's 3.5mm output to connect with my F&D T200X (2.1 system). In between, I connected the same set of speakers to a different laptop for a couple of months and I was able to feel a great deal of difference but that laptop was not mine. so had to go back to monitor's audio output which now felt very muddy to me. Then I started searching for a decent DAC and that is when I came to know about the passive and active ones. Since this is gonna be my first purchase, I did not want to shell out a hefty sum so started looking for dongles. I was contemplating between Apple dongle and Venture Electronics Abigail.
Headphoneone buying experience: Got in touch with the headphonezone team and they were as always very happy to call me and help me out. Therefore, best buying experience ever. Sure, I will make future audio gear purchases from here only. Never felt like buying online. The experience was that of an in-store feeling.
So finally decided to go with VE Abigail because I don't like the brand Apple that much.
The audio quality: I am not an audiophile man. I just love to listen to music. I have 10+ gigs of FLAC audio of Tamil Music from the 2000s and 1990s. I do not have audiophile-grade headphones or integrated amps or speakers. All I have is my F&D for the past 3 years. I must admit after I connected this dongle between my laptop and my 2.1 speakers, I heard music like I never heard before in my entire life. My 2.1 speakers never sounded this good before. I was so shocked and pleased at the same time. The audio was crystal clear and I could hear each and every piece of instrument going back to audio out from the monitor felt so muddy and muffled. It felt like the first time when I took an eye test and got spectacles after which I was able to see much better and clear. In a nutshell, it is better than a laptop or monitor audio out and makes my 2.1 sound really good (in a way it never sounded before). Hence understood the importance of a DAC.
Now the thing is, now that I have evidently seen that audio quality can be improved, I am curious to know how far this can go? Integrated amp? Bookshelf speakers? Desktop DAC? I am excited.

I am not a professional reviewer. I just tried to pen down my personal experience of buying from headphonezone and the quality of the product itself in simple words.

Not satisfied with this product. Sound quality is like every other usual DAC available on Amazon. Packing was like that of fake products. No product description or hardware description on box, no user manual either. Not value for money

If you get it for 800 or something it's really good. Got it for 800 by using credits of headphone zone. Using it with my Blon bl-03 and it performs better as the volume is improved along with the bass response.

After purchasing the Abigail Pro product recently, I checked its quality and found it to be good. However, I noticed that your company is selling the same product at a higher price compared to other sellers. While considering buying the FiiO KA1 product for my Apple phone, I discovered a significant price difference between your company's selling price and that of other sellers. This leads me to think that your company might be engaging in unethical practices of price gouging, which can negatively impact your reputation. Hence I will try to find out and give my reviews to all that think twice before purchasing from your website portal.

Abigail - hissing sound + fatiguing tonality . It's useless. And headphonezone isn't helping me to refund. They have returned. But aren't accepting refund.

I purchased this DAC to be used as a daily driver for my KZ ZSN PRO X with my Xiaomi flagship, which claims to support Hi-Fi audio (upto 192kHz), but doesn't do so natively. This meant I either had to use a custom OS and compromise on Dolby Atmos support, or root the device and edit the core files which is a hassle. I got the Abigail DAC on a 3-instalment plan with no problems using Simpl for around 800INR.

The sound quality is supremely better than the in-built DAC on the Mi 11X for a few reasons. The software limits the audio output to 48kHz irrespective of the quality of source. As an Apple Music user, this meant lossless and hi-res lossless were of no use when the output was anyway being downscaled. The Abigail DAC bypasses this downscaling, being an active converter. The audio from Android subsystem is routed through an unfiltered USB audio channel, outputting the best possible quality without processing. The DAC itself handles the sound very well, providing smooth frequencies, I find the balance to be great for a dongle at such a price point. The soundstage too is drastically improved over any normal 3.5mm connection. In terms of volumes, the smartphone can power the DAC efficiently, and a clear, loud sound is achievable with just 30% of the absolute volume scale.

In a nutshell, the Abigail DAC can be an extremely good and cost-effective option to upgrade your listening experience if you're coming from a normal passive Type-C connector, or from the usual 3.5mm connection. The bonus is that this connector can also be used on your laptop/desktops as an additional soundcard, with the same 384kHz limit.

Recommended configuration- KZ IEMs, a smartphone with support for Hi-Res/Hi-Fi audio/Dolby integration, an Apple Music subscription.
