In a nutshell, best under ₹1000. Value for money.
Pros -
- Sounds good.
- Neutral sound.
- No noise at low volumes.
- Gets just loud enough.
- Supports DSP via the app. Also shows bitrate of the music you're playing. (1 of many features in the app)
- Doesn't get warm.
- Good build.
- It's fiio, under ₹1000
Cons -
1. No lightning support.
2. App does not work with ios.
3. Power output is on the lower side. (But gets loud enough at 70-80% Volume)
This is my opinion, and opinions may differ, but is most likely the best DAC under 1000.
Pros : If you're looking to improve your smartphone's audio without breaking the bank, the JA11 is an excellent option. It is well-suited for driving most IEM, providing a clear and detailed sound without much colorisation. I personally like the Its compact size and lightweight design make it perfect for carrying around in your pocket.
Potential Drawbacks : Limited power output, While sufficient for most IEMs, it might struggle to drive demanding headphones. No balanced output if you prefer balanced connections skip this one. Buggy firmware update - Don't use Fiio Control app - instead use PC upgrade tool, Works like a charm - Update to latest version 2.0

The Fiio JA11 is a remarkable achievement in the affordable Portable USB-C DAC. It delivers exceptional sound quality, build quality, and features for its price.

I purchased the FiiO X Jade Audio JA11 in black, and it worked great for just one day. The sound quality was impressive, but then it completely stopped working. I tried connecting it to several devices, but nothing worked. I’m disappointed with the lack of reliability in a brand-new product.

Upon notification I had immediately booked this. Upon receiving initially it worked and afterwards stopped. Tried with other mobile and tab but didn't work. Finally booked return. It was taken back.
Later I came to know by the comments here and few videos in YT, the 'UPDATE' is the culprit to stop working this DAC. I might pressed update when it prompted for update in Fiio Control app.
Updates are supposed to help the product to perform better. But in this case it's opposite it'll brick your DAC. In YT a reviewer mentioned this issue with KA11 also to not to update firmware.
My request is, HPZ should bring this matter with FiiO and get some genuine solution. Otherwise like me many would return unknowing this fact. I'll surely step back in purchasing this DAC from FiiO again.

I've seen many people online say that a portable DAC like this isn't worth it and that it won't make a noticeable difference in audio quality. But for me, the difference between using this Portable USB DAC and directly connecting my headphones to the laptop 3.5mm jack is HUGE (actually i bought it for my Samsung A35 which does not have a headphone jack). 100% recommended.
The only problem I've had is with the FiiO Control App. When I paired the DAC within the app, it automatically attempted to upgrade its firmware and failed without giving any error message. As a result, neither your smartphone nor your laptop/PC will recognize it as an audio device.
The solution is to download the firmware (v2.0) and upgrade it using a laptop/PC only—you cannot do this on your Android device. Once I did the firmware upgrade, it worked like it did before using the FiiO Control App. However, the app is now useless. Even if you reconnect your JA11 with the app, it will pair and you will see the 2.0 firmware version, but when you try to use the EQ or adjust the volume level through the app, it takes you to the home page and shows 'FiiO JA11 disconnected' and never connects again.
