In case you receive the FiiO - KA17 with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. If anyone wants a do it all dongle I highly highly suggest checking the fiio ka17 out. At its price point I would say its definitely worth it and it sounds just fantastic and the EQ function + its price makes it an overall fantastic device to own.
The big plus remains the ability to unleash the full power of the amp, with the dedicated desktop mode – available when the two USB-C port are used. With that, the KA17 unlocks two additional THX amp modules, doubling the output power.
I was pleasantly surprised at the staging performance of the KA17 and is one of the best I’ve heard in this gear segment. It’s open, precise, and has good depth and multipoint placement.
The new Fiio KA17 is a quirky but solid device. This is a dongle that can grow with you as you go on your audiophile journey. It is a versatile device that can get your headphones juicing anywhere from on the go to at your desk.

The musical beast!

This is a DAC Amp with a tiny form factor, but it's a musical beast..and it is SERIOUSLY GOOD!

The sound it creates is a amazingly full, precise at the same time warm! It draws you into the sound stage it creates..which is bigger than the one without it. The Desktop mode is significantly bold, with even bigger soundstage!!

This is an essential member of your musical world if you are a dedicated user of headphones and IEMs!

Enhances the sound may be due to extra power and super neutral

I attached this to Zero Red and I could immediately see the difference it made to sound against the Headphone Zone X ddHiFi - Hi-Res DAC (off course the price difference is 5X as well).
The vocals became warm and lush and instruments became more separated. The desktop mode makes it even better...(it runs a bit warm in this mode though). I attached my HD560s and it was able to drive that very well. To be fair I was able to enjoy HD650s by connecting it to my TVs audio jack to watch movies and that too worked very well so I cant say that this KA17 made too much of a difference to sound for HD650s...
Super well done to headphone zone for super fast delivery and the packaging was superb as well...

the best dongle under 200$ one can get.

This dongle fixes what I hated most about typical ESS chip dongles:

1. Soundstage depth
2. Shouty upper mids.
While this dongle warms on desktop mode, isn't compact, power efficient and possess analog tonalty like my iBasso DC07 Pro, there are somethings that it does better than the DC07Pro:

1. Stage width and depth is better on ka17.
2. Tighter and crisper bass on ka17.
3. More resolving and better detail retreival on ka17.
4. Airy and revealing treble on ka17 without being fatiguing.
5. Free leather case.
