The 7HZ x Crinacle Zero: 2 builds upon the success of its forerunner, fulfilling the audio preferences requested by audiophiles. It offers enhanced bass, controlled treble, and a clear midrange. For those entering the hobby, this is a highly recommended choice.
With a very solid base, quite comfortable, with a very low weight, with very well executed and resolved bass, with a quite full and complex midrange and a moderately extended, but soft treble, the Zero 2 are in my top of very low budget models.
For budget-conscious or entry-level enthusiasts, the 7Hz x Crinacle Zero: 2 offer a taste of a popular IEM sound target. Or they can serve well as a secondary pair for reference.
Much like its predecessor, the Zero 2 is an exceptional value proposition, making it a standout choice for anyone shopping for a budget IEM.

For someone who was very happy with the original Salnotes ZERO, the ZERO:2 proved to be a rather disappointing exercise.
The 3db bass boost in the ZERO:2 skews the rather unusually neutral nature of the ZERO and renders it unfavourable to those looking for the same smooth tonality.
I was able to restore some sanity by applying a shelf EQ for 2db. But then, it would be easier to just take out the original ZERO instead!
If you thought the 3db boost would solve the lack of bass extension in the original ZERO, you will be mistaken. The 3db bass tilt ensures that the ZERO:2 no longer has what made the Salnotes ZERO so loved; the most balanced, neutral but engaging IEM at the below ₹2500 price range.
Maybe I expected a bit too much, especially given the price bump, anticipating a serious improvement.

There is no doubt that my purchase is very amazing, I love hearing songs on my 7hz Salnotes zero 2 but I have already purchased from you guys I don't understand why you keep showing me ads everywhere I go? Is your marketing team dumb or what? Or you must be having a lot of money to show your ads to the people who are not going to purchase anything from you anytime soon?
I literally have to block every ads from youtube, insta, gmail and even pinterest like reallyy? leave me alone bro
The sound quality on these are amazing if you liked the Blons BL-03 type warm sound signature. However the first unit I recieved had a leg of the filter break and fall in my ear, the packaging was roughed up upon delivery, headphone zone didn't really show any remorse at the event and my replacement unit took way too long to reach me without giving me any real updates on it. Headphone Gurus are also dishonest, I had opt for these replacing the moondrop chu 2(who's box also was in terrible condition) I originally ordered, these iems are way better than moondrop chu-2s for the signature type, the guru I was connected to was basically gaslighting me even tho multiple reviews on YouTube confirmed that these were a better pair sound quality wise (more clarity + no sharp treble fatigue) even tho I was being gaslit into believing there's no difference between Zero 2s and Moondrop chu 2s as they're in the same "price range" and pushing me to other products instead of being honest with my query, I've personally had my peers verify this too, peers with the original zeros and owners of other iems. The Headphone Gurus will also lie to you when you point out clear bugs shown by the package tracker which didn't update when the product was returned but the orders page would say it's delivered, they would lie to you saying "It was saying it was delivered to our facility" when clearly it didn't, the last update it showed was it being deliveried to my house. The overall experience that Headphone Zone provides to me seems very dishonest and manipulative. For this reason I give this 2 stars otherwise this would be a 5/5 in my book
This is my first IEM. Before this I was using Apple wierd earpods and the base is flat on that but on zero 2 the base doesn't sound that good. I already have know that the base on this one is more than that of the previous generation zero but I thought it wouldn't bother my ears. But the base of zero 2 is not for me.

I have been using them for about a week and I'm thoroughly impressed by what these IEMs have to offer at their price. I had been using TWS Galaxy Buds Live and felt like something was missing while listening to music. I also have pair of boat wired earphones and the every sound I hear on it is a version of boosted bass LOL. I do own Audio Technica M20x but they are bulky to wear and are not suitable for long. Although I had a higher budget, I wanted to start somewhere to see if IEMs are really my thing and these are turning out to be a great choice.
Comfort and Fit
They are lightweight and with the right tips don't cause any wearing fatigue or pain.
Build
The wire quality is average, I don't think it can handle too much stress. I'm not worried about it breaking as it can probably be replaced but that's a problem for another day. I'd suggest not to get rough with these and strictly use it indoors. The driver housing seems to be built ok.
Sound:
The elephant in the room; these are known to have the bass boosted a bit and treble toned down and I must say to my taste they are awesome. I still find upper mid range a tiny bit harsh in some tracks and boy I would have definitely returned the original Salnotes Zero One, but with Zero 2 there's nothing that a little bit of EQ can't fix. The sound is pleasing overall.
The bass doesn't touch the vocals at all and is simply not there if the song doesn't have any (GREAT), the vocal clarity is so good especially the female vocals, the male vocals can sound a bit further but then it varies from one singer to another and the mixing. I love the puchy bass that makes it presence felt without messing up anything else. The details are great and it absolute annhilates the cheap TWS buds you own, and mind you I don't have any lossless music subscription. I listen to them on YT music (Yeah I know not the ideal source) but I still enjoy the listening sessions and I can notice loss compression in songs. I particulary listen to bollywood and punjabi music with a bit of English pop and rap songs, and these are well suited for them. If you are into more complex music, these may not be the right choice. Please remember, the tips you choose will affect the sound, the narrow bore tips will amplify bass while wide bore will open up a bit on mid range.
And if you listen to Arijit Singh or AR Rahman songs, these are tailor made for them.
Gaming:
These are my secondary gaming earphones as sadly these don't come with a microphone so I only use it to play single player games. I did try these with Counter Strike 2 and I could easily pin point enemies, the AWP shots didn't cause me headaches thanks to the controlled bass. With the right seal the noise isolation is near perfect. These have a great potential to be gaming buds.
I definitely reccommend these to people who are just starting out and don't wanna go overboard or break their bank and want a sound upgrade over their regular buds. Everyone has a different taste, reviews can only tell half the story.
Last but not the least, big props to HeadphoneZone for the quick delivery, I had these delivered within 1.5 days to Delhi.
