The event was great. Got to meet some awesome people. It does make you feel that you are not the only crazy person in the ever expanding hobby. I got to try lot of great portable and not so portable audio systems. I would be waiting for this event again somewhere in the distant future.

Well organised, courteous staff, and a wide range of headphones, audiophile and regular. Good to experience the different sound characteristics of electrostatic, planar and dynamic, from various brands. For me the standouts were the Hifiman he 1000se, Dan Clark E3 and the Stax series, including the new SR-X1 with matching energiser. The staff provided expert guidance on selection. A chance to listen first before buying. Going early helped, get's crowded later, at all tables, including iem's. I didn't check out the iem earphones.A big thanks to Raghav and his helpful team. Much appreciated.

If you like music and meeting like-minded people, then a Headphone Connect is the place to be. The added advantage is that you get to try the best of the best. My second time at a Headphone Connect and I was more prepared, I had my own gear for reference, I had my own playlist carefully curated to show off various characteristics of sound on good headphones and I was open to try new gear and new music. The four hours I spent there went by so fast.
The team from Headphone Zone is amazing, the few names I remember and they do deserve a special mention, Mahima, Varun, Ian, Karan, Ryan and of course Raghav who gave me ample time.

What does the Headphone Connect Access Pass include?
In a nutshell, it's your passport to an audiophile's paradise. It's your chance to reconnect with your beloved music on some of the world's most exceptional headphones, often referred to by many audiophiles as "priceless." Beyond experiencing headphones and IEMs, you'll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for sound and form new friendships. The Access Pass also treats you to a delightful High Tea experience.
Do I need to get my set-up along?
It is a BYOG (Bring Your Own Gear) event. You're welcome to get any audio gear you have along. If you're carrying a desktop setup, you can setup your systems on our community table. Kindly carry your extension cords. This event is all about sharing.
Is Headphone Connect only open to audiophiles?
Headphone Connect is all about interactions and discovery. Both seasoned hobbyists and casual listeners are welcome.
What headphones can I listen to?
We have gear from some of the finest brands in the world like Astell&Kern, Audeze, Chord Electronics, FiiO, HiFiMAN, and many more. The team carries 400 KGs of headphones, IEMs, DACs and DAPs to the event. The IEM bar (incidentally the most happening area at the event) has over 50 IEMs from brands like 64 Audio, Vision Ears, Noble Audio, 7HZ, Final Audio, KZ, Moondrop, 1Custom & more. We have also dedicated tables for Headphones from Audeze, STAX, Meze Audio, Focal, HEDD Audio, and more. World class headphones are driven by the finest amps and DACs from brands like Chord Electronics, Burson Audio, Gustard, TOPPING, iFi Audio. The IEMs are driven by High Resolution Digital Audio Players from brands like Astell&Kern, Cayin, FiiO, and iBasso. Honestly, you'll have to keep the entire day free so that you can make the most of the event
There's a particular headphone I want to listen to, can I request it in advance?
If there’s something specific you want to listen to, speak to one of our Gurus and we'll try our best to get those for you.
I don't know anything about audiophilia. Can I still come?
There will be plenty of people to guide you on how to listen to music on various headphone systems.
Is there a dress code for the event?
Yes, because why not! You can pick up an Audiophile T-shirt here. But don't sweat it, it's not a compulsion.
Can I change the location after registration / Will I get a refund if I cancel?
No, unfortunately, a change of location won’t be possible. You could cancel your existing registration and re-register for the location you want to attend. Any cancellations would be non-refundable.
My friend just arrived in town. Can I get him/her along? Do I need to get them to register?
Yes! The more the merrier. Just remember to get them to register for the event in advance.
Will you guys have on-the-spot registrations?
No, since we’ve capped the event to 100 - 200 attendees, we need to ensure that we provide a firm number to our venue partners. We won’t be able to take spot registrations at the venue hence.
Can I give my Headphone Connect Access Pass to my friend if I'm unable to attend?
Sure. Just tell your friend to mention that he/she will be taking your place at the Headphone Connect.
If I like something, can I buy it on the spot?
No, you can't. JK, we're an online store and you can simply pull out your phone at the event and place orders directly on our website.
Can I get my kid along? Do I need to register for him/her?
Headphone Connect is open to people of all ages. If you want to give your little one a taste of audiophilia, definitely bring him/her along! PS: Kids don't need to be registered under 12 years.

It was truly a dream come true—this was my first time attending, and meeting Rahul in person was nothing short of surreal. I hold immense respect for this man, whose dedication has not only brought the hobby to India but also made it accessible to people like me. I remember the days when I used to enjoy music on subpar equipment, but now I find myself immersed in the rich world of audiophilia, thanks to his efforts. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making me feel at ease as a newcomer to this hobby. I also had the privilege of meeting many like-minded individuals and even made a few new friends.
To sum up the experience, I had the opportunity to listen to 18 pairs of IEMs, spanning various price ranges and sound signatures, and I even dipped my toes into the world of high-end headphones, trying 3 flagship models. In retrospect, I might have benefited from starting with something more beginner-friendly, but then again, there’s always next year—and I can hardly wait for it to come around!

I am a casual music listener, I only listen to Spotify or YouTube music, mostly mp3. Two of my friends and I decided to attend the event to try various high-end audio equipment, and boy it was worth it. The headphone zone team is very helpful and friendly to answer your queries about music and the equipment. I could not listen to all the equipment even though I attended the entire day from start to end because I spent 90% of the day at the IEM table 😅.
Some tips from me to make the most out of the event and be more efficient to find your favourite IEMs/headphones/DAC in case you're looking to purchase one:
1. Make a playlist of your favourite music tracks across all your genres. Have this playlist available with you offline either on phone or some device from which you can play it. About 30 min of music should be more than enough. You can carry more.
There's also a playlist on Spotify made by headphone zone team. You can use that itself and listen to it on your own equipment before coming for the event.
2. They provide you a DAC if you don't have one, but get your own portable DAC if possible. Preferably one with a 4.4mm and 3.5mm output. As some of the IEMs required 4.4mm connection.
3. For IEMs, If you have your own ear tips, carry them along as some IEM ear tips may not fit you snug and you will not experience the sound at it's best.
4. Take breaks in between after listening continuously, like every 1hr. This may vary from person to person, but for me, I got saturated listening to the same tracks over and over on different IEMs, trying to analyse the sound. I didn't have a playlist ready so I wasted quite some time searching for songs on my phone and got exhausted more.
5. Do your own research on what IEMs/headphones you would like to listen to. This will help you skip the equipment you don't want to listen to and it's going to save you a lot of time as you cannot listen to every possible equipment with the limited time. But don't worry, if you're confused what headphone/IEMs to listen to, just ask the staff for a recommendation!
6. Every person's hearing is different, and it's ok to not like the sound of the headphone or IEMs you listen to. Accepting that and moving on to other items instead of convincing yourself to like the sound will help you find your favourite ones.
7. Don't sweat too much about the specifications of the equipment, like 5BA, 2DD, 1EST etc, or the price. What matters is how good it sounds to you, and how comfortable it is while wearing it. If those criteria are not met, the specifications do not matter.
8. It's ok if you don't get to try everything, but everything you try, you must try it properly, not in a hurried way. Relax, take your time. Enjoy the music.
Carry a hoodie or jacket in case the AC is too cold. You won't enjoy the music if you're freezing. 🥶
One suggestion I had for the headphone zone team is, you can consider arranging the IEMs in clusters based on their sound signature instead of brands or price, because generally people would like to compare different IEMs with similar sound signature and across price ranges.

After so many years of reading and watching many videos about so many headphones, it was a dream come true to actually try them out! Such events are a god-send for audiophiles so that they get to try expensive headphones and equipment and make an informed purchase decision and be super satisfied with the purchase decision. We need more such events and more headphones please!!

Was pleasantly surprised to see Raghav while I was waiting up to the first floor at Sheraton pune. I was about 2 hrs late and he really made me feel at home and personally showed me around which was really nice. I've always seen him on YouTube before this and was really nice to meet him in person.Good to listen to so many iems and headphones and discover new favourites. Also spoke to Ian, Ryan and Hector who had helped me make purchase decisions in the past. Id also had a light meal in the morning and had started to feel a little hungry by the time I had reached Sheraton however by then snacks were available and I fueled up which helped me spend the next 6 hrs to listen to music non stop. If I could only suggest one thing it would be to have atleast one non veg option in the menu that is satiating , thereby adding to the overall experience. I would definitely visit next time, now that i know what to expect, with a bucket list of audio devices to test drive!
