POWERFUL AMPLIFICATION WITH THE APX555 CHIP AND USB 3.1 HIGH-SPEED TRANSMISSION

The iBasso DX260 houses an APX555 Chipset, which is known to be excelling in the industry. The iBasso DX260 is equipped with a dedicated USB receiver, aiming to make its name for universal audio standards with true Hi-Res capability. The USB 3.1 high-speed transmission supports the USB-DAC mode and provides low latency in the USB-DAC mode. The USB 3.1 output power is enough to drive any IEMs and full-size headphones. The DX260 supports ASIO/WASAPI output with SNR 133db, a dynamic range of 134dB and SNR up to 133db along with frequency response up to 10Hz~75kHz -1dB.

iBasso has introduced their 2nd generation FPGA- Master, after an effortful year of algorithm development. The FPGA audio system controller directly requests audio data from the SoC and plays a crucial role in signal reproduction and maintaining signal integrity. The FPGA works seamlessly in synchronising and generating all audio clocks by utilising two NDK femtosecond oscillators, to achieve a synchronised single clock source. The FPGA-Master 2.0 offers picosecond-level precise control and adjusts the DAC clock, and data, and constructs the FIR filter in your iBasso DX260.

FIR FILTERS FOR LOWER DISTORTION LEVELS AND IMPROVED AUDIO QUALITY

The potential of the Octa DAC chip can be discovered with the FIR filter, featured in the iBasso DX260, which works hand in hand with the FPGA-Master 2.0 algorithm. The synchronous parallel output mode reduces discrete distortion between DACs to improve the overall performance of your audio. The FIR 2x mode and FIR 4x mode with FPGA-MASTER 2.0 deliver picosecond-level precise control and adjustment of the DAC clock and data is achieved, making each DAC data stream independently adjustable. Through the "delay parallel" of 4 DACs, the DACs form a hardware analogue FIR filter, which averages the differences between multiple DACs, reducing distortion and effectively improving sound details and realism.
