Bought the E10K based on lot of good youtube reviews. But to be very honest to myself, did not notice any great improvement in sound quality or clarity in My ATH M50X or KZ ZSN Pro X or Creative Pebble Plus 2.1 (speaker) when playing from my HP Pavilion15 laptop or Desktop PC (Aorus X570 PRO Motherboard). Slight changes in sound signature is observed and loudness of individual instruments is more pronounced at higher sound volume output level E10K but in my opinion these can be lived without in my opinion. Only the bare headphone/IEMs with laptop/desktop is more hasslefree way of listening to music in my opinion. Considering the Price to performance difference as observed, buying the dedicated amp/dac was not worth the money in my opinion.

Decent DAC (24bit/96kHz), pretty powerful AMP(200 MW), solid aluminium housing, Bass boost works great and gives tight, thumpy bass but all of this depends on the max input power and sensitivity of the equipment connected to the AMP.
Coaxial out works fantabulous with great power and gives clean, distortion free sound when connected to Home Theater and Powered speakers.
Compared to other headphone DACs this one has a bit of warmth to it.
Overall an exceptional device with great capabilities.

Amazing performance direct from PC using USB-C. Super clear and levels are very good, lows, mids and high too. But line in sound too muffled, with lots of disturbance.. probably bad 3.5mm aux cable. The sound is on the warmer side & the rumbling bass from the bass switch is insane. Pretty good if you're looking for a cheap amp/dac & it's much better than my Asus strix motherboard onboard audio.

For the price build quality is great. But there is no feel to the sound. It sounds sterile. Switching to bass did improves a bit but it's too clean for my ears to hate. Benchmark with HD599 and kz zsn pro x. Even with some tuning there wasn't much difference with this DAC. Volume levels are great. Low/high gain switch useful for different headphones with different impedances. Small, compact, portable with USB C input interface which is great. Until and unless you are having very bad integrated DAC, you will feel noticeable audio quality with this product.

For the size of this device, it delivers a lot of power. Maybe not enough for planars, but enough for most of the headphones out there.

This is my first Headphone DAC/Amplifier purchase. I already own Audio-Technica ATH-M20x headphones(Also bought from Headphone Zone, working like a charm even after three years).

I don't know why this product is listed under portable amps and dacs. It's a desktop DAC/AMP combo. Have bought it twice (stopped working after multiple drops after 2 years) and it was enough to power 80 Ohm Beyerdynamic DT 770. Sound quality was a great improvement over my onboard sound output. I won't recommend it if your headphone's impedance is more than 80 Ohm.

If your budget is less than 8k, get this one; you won't regret buying it.
