What is the warranty like and who should I contact?
FiiO offers a one year warranty. If you need to claim warranty, you can contact us. We are quite friendly people, just sayin. You can read more about warranty here.
Why can't BTR15 be paired and connected to my phone? How to reset?
[Clear the pairing information on your phone]
Go to Settings-Bluetooth to delete the BTR15 pairing information and reconnect it to BTR15.

When it is on, hold both the volume- and volume+ buttons at the same time for about 5s.
[Reset operation]
Hold the Power button for at least 10 seconds to reset it.
Introduction of the three modes
Toggle the mode switch to select the mode you want to use.
PC mode: Toggle the switch to the top. The BTR15 will enter the USB decoding mode for desktop devices, and can be powered through USB.
BT mode: Toggle the switch to the middle. The BTR15 will enter the Bluetooth receiving mode, and can be powered through USB.
PHONE mode: Toggle the mode switch to the bottom. The BTR15 will enter the decoding mode for mobile phones, and will be disabled from USB charging (The device will be forced to charge if it is powered off for low battery).
How to enter pairing mode in BT mode? How to clear the pairing list of BTR15?
BT mode: Toggle the switch to the middle. The BTR15 will enter the Bluetooth receiving mode, and can be powered through USB.

1.If the device is never paired: After the device powers on, it will automatically enter the pairing mode with the display showing “PAIRING”;After the device restarted, it will reconnect to the last connected device automatically.
2. Force the device to enter pairing mode: After the device is successfully connected, hold the Multifunction button for about 5s until the display shows “PAIRING”.

When it is on, hold both the volume- and volume+ buttons at the same time for about 5s.
How to use the BTR15 as a USB DAC for mobile phones in PHONE mode?
PHONE mode: Toggle the mode switch to the bottom. The BTR15 will enter the decoding mode for mobilephones, and will be disabled from USB charging (The device will be forced to charge if it is powered off for low battery).
[Android phone]
Use the Type-C to Type-C cable included in the package to connect the BTR15 to your mobile phone. Play music to directly enjoy high-quality music.
Note: If there is no sound after connecting, you need to pay attention to the following points:
1. Settings on apps, such as FiiO Music, there is a USB output that needs to be enabled, but some devices will have sound only with the USB output turned off.
2. Please check if the USB debugging is enabled in developer modeYou may need to open 'Developer Options' in 'Other Advanced Settings', and then enable the 'USB Debugging' or 'OTG' function
3. Please confirm whether the cable is FiiO's C to C cable, whether the cable is reversed as there is a direction indication.
4. After the above settings are completed, you can try to re-plug the data cable, or play the track, play another track to make sure whether it is a hardware or software issue. If your issue remains, please contact our customer service to confirm whether it needs to be returned.
[iPhone/iPad]
Please buy an extra Lightning to Type-C OTG cable.
Connect the BTR15 to the iPhone/iPad/iPod via this cable to enjoy high-quality music.
Note: IOS devices won't need too many settings. If there is no sound, it may be the adapter cable or the data port is in poor contact.
How to use the car mode?
Enable the Car mode and connect the BTR15 to an on-board USB port. When the vehicle engine starts, theBTR15 will power on automatically, and power off when the engine stops.
The car mode could be available in BT, PC or PHONE mode.
How to connect the BTR15 to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously in BT mode?
After a successful pairing with device 1, hold the Multifunction button for about 5s to enter the pairing mode again. Search for 'BTR15' on device 2 and pair it with the BTR15. Back to device 1, select 'FIIO BTR15' in the Bluetooth device list and reconnect them; or, after connecting the BTR15 with device 1 successfully, reenter the pairing mode and connect to device 2. After a successful pairing with device 2, short press the Multifunction button to reconnect to device 1; or, restart the BTR15 after a successful pairing with device 2, so the BTR15 can be connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
About the remote control and microphone function in BTR15
Microphone is not supported in USB DAC mode. When connecting via Bluetooth connection, you could use the microphone in BTR15 for calling.
The in-line remote control and microphone function in headphone are not supported by the BTR15.

What is the warranty like and who should I contact?

Why can't BTR15 be paired and connected to my phone? How to reset?
[Clear the pairing information on your phone]
Go to Settings-Bluetooth to delete the BTR15 pairing information and reconnect it to BTR15.

When it is on, hold both the volume- and volume+ buttons at the same time for about 5s.

Hold the Power button for at least 10 seconds to reset it.
Introduction of the three modes
Toggle the mode switch to select the mode you want to use.
PC mode: Toggle the switch to the top. The BTR15 will enter the USB decoding mode for desktop devices, and can be powered through USB.
BT mode: Toggle the switch to the middle. The BTR15 will enter the Bluetooth receiving mode, and can be powered through USB.
PHONE mode: Toggle the mode switch to the bottom. The BTR15 will enter the decoding mode for mobile phones, and will be disabled from USB charging (The device will be forced to charge if it is powered off for low battery).
How to enter pairing mode in BT mode? How to clear the pairing list of BTR15?
BT mode: Toggle the switch to the middle. The BTR15 will enter the Bluetooth receiving mode, and can be powered through USB.
[How to enter Bluetooth pairing mode?(not on the menu page)]
1.If the device is never paired: After the device powers on, it will automatically enter the pairing mode with the display showing “PAIRING”;After the device restarted, it will reconnect to the last connected device automatically.
2. Force the device to enter pairing mode: After the device is successfully connected, hold the Multifunction button for about 5s until the display shows “PAIRING”.

How to use the BTR15 as a USB DAC for mobile phones in PHONE mode?
PHONE mode: Toggle the mode switch to the bottom. The BTR15 will enter the decoding mode for mobilephones, and will be disabled from USB charging (The device will be forced to charge if it is powered off for low battery).

Use the Type-C to Type-C cable included in the package to connect the BTR15 to your mobile phone. Play music to directly enjoy high-quality music.
Note: If there is no sound after connecting, you need to pay attention to the following points:
1. Settings on apps, such as FiiO Music, there is a USB output that needs to be enabled, but some devices will have sound only with the USB output turned off.
2. Please check if the USB debugging is enabled in developer modeYou may need to open 'Developer Options' in 'Other Advanced Settings', and then enable the 'USB Debugging' or 'OTG' function
3. Please confirm whether the cable is FiiO's C to C cable, whether the cable is reversed as there is a direction indication.
4. After the above settings are completed, you can try to re-plug the data cable, or play the track, play another track to make sure whether it is a hardware or software issue. If your issue remains, please contact our customer service to confirm whether it needs to be returned.
[iPhone/iPad]
Please buy an extra Lightning to Type-C OTG cable.
Connect the BTR15 to the iPhone/iPad/iPod via this cable to enjoy high-quality music.
Note: IOS devices won't need too many settings. If there is no sound, it may be the adapter cable or the data port is in poor contact.
How to use the car mode?
Enable the Car mode and connect the BTR15 to an on-board USB port. When the vehicle engine starts, theBTR15 will power on automatically, and power off when the engine stops.
The car mode could be available in BT, PC or PHONE mode.
How to connect the BTR15 to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously in BT mode?
After a successful pairing with device 1, hold the Multifunction button for about 5s to enter the pairing mode again. Search for 'BTR15' on device 2 and pair it with the BTR15. Back to device 1, select 'FIIO BTR15' in the Bluetooth device list and reconnect them; or, after connecting the BTR15 with device 1 successfully, reenter the pairing mode and connect to device 2. After a successful pairing with device 2, short press the Multifunction button to reconnect to device 1; or, restart the BTR15 after a successful pairing with device 2, so the BTR15 can be connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
About the remote control and microphone function in BTR15
Microphone is not supported in USB DAC mode. When connecting via Bluetooth connection, you could use the microphone in BTR15 for calling.
The in-line remote control and microphone function in headphone are not supported by the BTR15.
