DITA Audio - Project M

Trust me when i say that these are absolutely the best you can get in terms of resolution and details keeping the tone musical, clean and clear with good note weight that sounds both fuller and analytical depending on the music you listen to. This one achieved major feats that i didn’t even think of at the time of purchase.

End to end extension is excellent. Deep sub-bass and great treble extension. Mid range throws at you the finest details, thanks to its resolution that i could not imagine at its price point.

Coming to the cons, only con in terms of sound can be that it does not push a lot of air in sub-bass and mid-bass regions. However, the texture, dynamics and attack are excellent and hard-hitting. You will feel the precise thud when you hear a track like Royals - Lorde but may lack a bit of air for a bass-head. For me, the bass is adeqaute and is compensated by its excellent quality and prestine details.

A feat really maintaining the musicality with excellent detail retrieval, layering and soundstage. Imaging appears vert precise and layering/ stage contributes to it.

Also, only feed quality sound to this IEM. It gives a harsh treatment (not in terms of treble), lacks musicality, overly analytical when i listened using spotify. I did not enjoy listening with the spotify premium. Ok sounding at best. Things completely reversed when i switched to hi-res music via apple. Coming to the dongles and tips, this IEM is very picky i believe. Stock tips are the best for me. Other tips have one or other issue. RU7 pairs amazing among the other dongles such as to onix Alpha, Celest CD-20, Aful Snowy night. In a way, it is an eye opening moment for me the way RU7 synergized with this IEM compared to budget dongles. Thats all. Bye.

Great IEM, clear vocal..been a day only still burning them..

Actually this is a 3 pages review. Due to character restrictions i cut short it and full review attached herewith as images (HPZ pls don't offence me). I’m not a technical person to write a review like professionals. This is very practical review which will be helpful for those who are needs certain clarifications with this IEM and DAC.

Why Dita Project M : “RAGHAV’S NEW FAVOURITE IEM” this tag line is enough for me personally. As we all know, Mr. Raghav and his expertise in this turf, I perceived every word of his review about this IEM. Also I heard some live audio samples in some vlogs and felt very different in tuning in pretty positive way. So took a chance and done. Using it with BTR7 DAC

Ill try to explain point wise so that it will be easy on reading.

Finally got the perfect Setup after trying many iterations with phone and DAC:
In S24 Ultra : Switch ON the Dolby Atmos – Enable MOVIE mode – Keep the equalizer in Balanced mode.
In the DAC: Use LDAC Codec, select the Hip-Hop equalizer and enable the balance o/p BOOST.

6. Ok, Done with setup. Now how is the sound?? It’s a just different world to me. Just blown away and addicted to these completely. I can consolidate as follows:

• Bass: Initially I realized these IEMs does not have any fun BASS and are more sub-bass oriented which can be felt and cannot be hear the thump. It was there but just not enough for my taste and even basic requirement for any casual listener. By selecting Hip-hop EQ in DAC, it just switched ON the SUB WOOER in your IEM (hurray I shocked). The DAC is such a beast that it powers this IEM like burning rocket fuel. The bass has sub-base rumble, mid bass thump, fast decay, accurate, layered and textures. It’s a quality bass with huge grunt. This is the most enjoyed bass I ever felt on TWS / Head Phones / IEMs. Totally satisfied (of-course it’s my satisfaction). I love to hear the bass on these often and often and often…. You will feel the sealed sub-woofer here.

• Mids: With the above setup, the mids are sweet and smooth. I generally like the vocals to be laid back / lean rather than shouty. So here, it perfectly suits this scenario which will give equal weightage to both vocals and instruments. This is perfect balance and the vocals are soo lush without shouty. Further, Mr. Raghav explained it clearly, he is the best one to explain about mids.

• Highs: These are differently tuned for treble. This is also explained by Mr. Raghav in the video. It definitely sparkly and airy with lot of energy but without harsh (90% of the content). It slightly felt a touch harsh for 10% of the content. However, some times when watching videos, felt treble is lacking the energy (may be the sound mixed in that way). Anyways, I love the high frequency response of these IEM and enjoying a lot and you will addict for high frequency with these.

• Instrument Separation: It’s mind blowing and fantastic. It puts smile on your face when you feel the instrument separation. Each end every instrument can be heard and felt. In some crowded songs / audio, we will never get the clumsiness and harshness. We will addicted to hear the instruments.

• Sound stage: Have you ever heard the music / songs sounds soo good with SPATIAL AUDIO / 360 / DOLBY ATMOS MOVIE mode??? This will do it for you, period. By enabling movie mode on my S24U, it will pushes the instruments and vocals across big stage and it really open up everything. Without enabling atmos movie mode, the stage is just little wide from your ears and instruments and details were merged together. Movie mode drastically stretches sound stage in height, depth and end even width. My ears noticed some of the instruments are sounding in front of me and slightly above my head (around 45 dgrees forward above my head). I really got astonished how good the movie mode enjoyable in listening music with these. Just for example, listen to ARR ‘beat of passion’ track in the movie Taal.

• Resolution / Details: I don’t know how to explain, but everything is crystal clear with pin point details. I love it.

*Movie watching: With Dolby Atmos Movie Mode enabled, the experience is another level. Just keep the mobile / tab level to your eyes and just enjoy the sound. I felt like watching movie in top class studio theater.

8. Negatives:
o BTR7 Battery life is very bad. I’m getting around 3 Hours with boost mode enabled.
o In wired connection with my S24U, observed some weird sound like tak tak tak noise in the interval of 1 sec. continuously. So using Bluetooth only as of now.
o Shirt collar clip for IEM and belt clip for DAC should have been provided. That will be very helpful while moving.

9. I don’t have any other high end / well-known IEMS to test and compare. But I confidently say these are very much better than any TWS / IEMs / Headphones I have listened. Please experience it before the stock goes out. Try them in events organised by HPZ near t...

Pairing this with another gem, the FIIO M11 Plus ESS, has taken my audio experience to a whole new level! The burn-in process is still ongoing, yet I’m already speechless. Music flowing like a river around me

Simply blew me with its performance. My best buy till date. Have many a times listened abt products reviewed by Audio Gurus / Audiophiles that they hear many unheard pieces in the recordings, and I really got confused with these statements. Trust me, first ever in my life, Dita's Project M has made me experience that and believe these Audiophile's. What a feeling. Mojo-2 did indeed improve its performance but w/o Mojo too, I would not shy away from saying that it held on its own through my source DX-160. With my ipone-13, I used it with IFI - Go Link and performance was indeed very good. Can't recommend it enough, if u can invest. Please do and experience the different with Project-M, in the music that you have been hearing with gears, that fall in mid-range of the spectrum.

I have to say, these are the best looking and eye catching set of iems i have ever come across. Dita Audio have combined leading brands in the making of the project M iems accessories. The stock e tips which are made by final, which apparently has a fluorescent glow in the dark core, has been my go to eartip of choice on most of my pre-owned iems. The rugged industrial designed Thanos made iem case is excellently built and reasonably pocketable. Cable is made by cardus, and its the best stock cable i have had till now on any iems i own, but they are a bit thin for my taste. Whats excellent is the end connector aewsome switchable termination. One if the best implementation of interchangeable terminations i have ever seen. The earpieces are in my opinion a piece of art. You have to see it in person to believe it. They are like nothing else you have ever seen in the market till now. They have also a very snug fit into my ears combined with the final e tips.
Now, coming to the sound, the treble is exceptionally well detailed and peaky but it never too harsh or over powering to my ears, they provide a very good seperation in instruments. You can feel the depth and layering if u use a reasonably good source. You will definitely hear many micro nuances in the audio especially the breaths by the singers and previously unnoticed strokes or beats of instruments while using them with good source. I tested them with my hiby R4 DAP, on medium gain and 4.4mm balanced connection. If any of you guys are south indian, then try to hear Mukala Mukabla, from Kadalan on this, its just WooW. I have ony been blown away when hearing that son using my Sennheiser ie600s. But the project Ms are almost on par with them and don't have any issues i face with my ie600s.
I think overall i prefer these over my ie600 just because of the overall build quality, looks and equally excellent sound. This in my opinion is the iems to beat in this price segment.

Build is Solid.In Appearance It is a Jewel. Sound is Musical. Bass is enough.
When connected with a good DAC It sounds beautiful. I connected it with
KHADAS TEA Dac with 3.5mm with iPhone It almost sounds like KUBLEY Khan
IEM which costs around two Lakhs Rupees. When I connected with Astel and Kern SP 3000 ( which costs 3 Lakhs Rupees) there also the DITA sounds good with little increase of the volume.
For this Price I never expected with this JEWEL.
But one negative (not with theIEM) the carry case/box comes along with the IEM
is not able to hold the IEM with the cable and the connecting Jack.
Therefore I had placed order for a pouch which comes with a Zipper.
Any one can close the eyes and without hesitation go for this Jewel.
Yes it is a jewel also in sounding. Bass, Mid range, and Treble all are perfect.
The price is affordable compared to Flagship IEMs.

This IEM is a fantastic choice for most people as it suits all genres of music. The build quality is excellent, and it looks awesome. They are very comfortable to wear, even for those with small ears, and can be worn for long periods due to their lightweight design. You can easily power them with your phone, making them very convenient.

Final Audio tips are supplied with the IEMs and work great. The cable is lightweight and well-made. It's worth going for these IEMs instead of cheaper options. The bass is good but not overpowering, allowing you to hear other details easily. The separation is good, and there is width in the sound presentation, although it lacks depth since they have a more forward sound.

Overall, the sound presentation is warm and thick, with notes that have weight to them rather than being sterile. For those not interested in hoarding multiple IEMs, this model should suffice for most people.

Of course, no IEM is perfect. This one has a slightly slower sound and lacks depth compared to my other IEM, the IE600. However, the DITA offers better bass, comfort, fit, and versatility across all music genres.

I am glad I pulled the trigger on this (there isnt much out there on these), its a wonderful IEM, very beautiful to look at, exceptional build quality, and sweet sounding. Some have said that it lacks Bass but I think it has good enough bass. Using this with Astell&Kern SP3000T on full tube mode and its sound is comparable to other more expensive IEMs in my collection. The accessory set with this is great specially the Tanos box that it came with which is manufactured by Systainer; Final E-Type Tips; and the stock cable is a MOOCA cable by Cardas with both single ended and balanced terminations. The IEMS are completely transparent with a small holographic Dita logo on each side. In my opinion these are the most beautiful and tastefully done IEMs in my collection at present. This is a solid buy would recommend everyone to give these a try. Would give it 6 stars out of 5.
