Changed my KZ Decet's stock cable. The C8 is a tad on the steeper side, but boy, it's worth it. No entanglement, and it makes the whole set up look so premium! The Mic is surpasses the stock KZ Cable's by a mile!!

Tripowin C8 Review – Premium IEM Cable Upgrade

After using the Tripowin C8, I can confidently say it's one of the best upgrade cables in its price range.

The first thing I noticed was the excellent build quality. The braided cable feels premium, lightweight, soft, and very comfortable for long listening sessions. It doesn't tangle easily and has very low cable noise (microphonics).

The connectors fit securely, and the overall finish gives a premium feel. It pairs perfectly with my IEMs and improves the overall user experience.

While an IEM cable doesn't dramatically change the sound, the Tripowin C8 provides a cleaner, more stable connection and lets my IEMs perform at their best. Combined with a good DAC, the listening experience feels more refined and enjoyable.

Swapped my stock cable for the C8 on my Truthear Hexas and they look so good. Build feels premium too — thick braided cable, doesn't tangle, zero microphonics even when I'm walking around.

For the price, it's a nice little upgrade if your stock cable feels flat or cheap. Pairs really well with the Hexa specifically. Would recommend.

I ordered Tripowin C8 MMCX with mic, 3.5mm, volume up-down and call keys. To use this cable with FIIO FH1 1DD+1BA dual driver IEM, The quality of the IEM cable is good for the price and much better than the stock cable. Moreover the music experience is also much better than the stock IEM cable.

The issue I faced with above mentioned cable was the volume up-down and call keys working inconsistently. I hoped the above cable will suit my FIIO IEM but it doesn't. So I requested return, they took back cable and offered me store credit. Again I ordered TRIPOWIN C8 0.78mm 3.5mm WITH MIC IEM cable for my IEM's with 0.78mm 2 pin compatibility. Ordered item was delivered once again promptly, but now without mic and controls. I just opened the outer courier cover but did break the factory seal of the IEM cable, I observed that they sent me without mic IEM cable. And I requested for return and they mailed me for video and images of the items while unpacking, I sent them the via email. Waiting for the reply, hope I'll replied with solution.

Loved the cable, very supple and does not tangle.

I am shocked. It's not look like a unboxed or opened. It's damn good.

I would like to say thanks to Headpgonezone first. Now coming to the point.... Tripowin C8 is the simply beast. Loved it. Plugged with FiiO F9 pro.

03. Dynamics is now much improved.
04. Staging is now significantly improved.
05. Highs are now more smooth and stable.
06. Bass is significantly improved.
07. Now i can feel the depth of the music.

Simply Awesome

Paired with Arias or the ZS10pros, these form a formidable upgrade. they drive the treble so much better than the stock cables and even bass is much tighter.

Highly recommended if you use auto-eq presets for the respective IEMs, or even if you don’t ! :)

I am not an expert Audiophile to properly judge Tripowin - C8. I am listening  KZ - ZS10 Pro X  with Tripowin - C8  Recessed 2Pin/QDC / 2.5mm / Without Mic  earphone cable plugged to an Astell & Kern XB10. 

Treble : very good control, always maintained.

Other Instruments : very nice and clear.

Bass : just awesome.

Price : may be reasonable for other Audiophiles experts; I feel it is a little costly, as an earphone cable of Rs. 2000/- and no idea if it can be used with other IEM/earphone or not. 

Build Quality : extreme high quality materials used.

I am using for my moondrop aria...these are very flexible and durable..4 4mm jack really made much difference in balanced audio

upgraded my cable from the stock (kz zs10 pro) to tripowin c8 and the change is significant to me. vocals are crystal clear. I am no audiophile to speak in technical terms but the instrument sounds, sound energized. Cable looks like a jewellery piece , it is very soft and thick. I didnt expect or seen a earphone jack that big xD.
anyway, it is totally worth it to come across tripowin. like i said i am no audiophile, but i can say if not headphone zone I wouldn't come across ' IEM' or how one could afford the luxury of sound.
C8 is fantastic with right emphasis to subtle shifts in vocals liek singers do, everything sounds melodified haha.

these cables take the overall audio quality a notch up along with my ibasso dc06's 4.4 balanced output.

These are thick wires, no doubt! May not fit your average earbuds case. But they fit well (at least on my Shure SE215s) and get the job done. Have paired then with my Shanling UA2. Sadly the way Sennheiser makes their connectors, this wire is unable to pull double duty on my Sennheiser IE 300s despite them being MMCX.
P.S. - the cable is also surprisingly tangle free!

I was skeptical about the balanced cables, but when i got one and used it with my arias and ka3, the difference is very noticeable. Now, i cannot go back to unbalanced one. I think it is not just the balanced cable but the balanced output circuitry of the DAC that will make a major difference, hence the cables are a necessary part of the chain. However the cost of the cable seems a lil bit on the higher end. May be because of lower production quantity it is like that, but none the less it is a good upgrade over the stock cable. With my arias, it is less tangle prone as well. I liked it.

After reading a lot about it and talking to one of the many helpful people at Headphone zone, I came to the conclusion of buying this cable as an upgrade to my Aria's. It functions perfectly and looks and feels pretty sturdy out of the box. Another plus is that they don't tangle easily and can easily be stored away without feeling like you'd damage them by coiling it up. Thank you to the team at HZI and them being pretty helpful, definitely recommend contacting them for advise if you're a novice like me before settling on a purchase.
