In the Topping PA3s, each channel is amplified independently by its dual Class D MA12070 power amplifier chips. By separating the audio signals, the PA3s achieves reduced crosstalk and better audio performance. Independent chip for each channel reduces the overall load on each chip and effectively improves the stability and lifespan of the chips. The PA3s being a Class D Amp means it is power-efficient and produces less heat than a Class A amp. That makes it perfect for a discrete bookshelf unit where heat dissipation can be an issue.

Topping PA3s provides an output power of up to 80Wx2 @ 4Ω with THD+N at 10%. For THD+N 1%, the PA3S churns out 65Wx2 @4Ω. Drive any bookshelf or floor stand speakers with 80Wx2 of power at 4Ω load. The low THD+N value of PA3s is in the range of 1–20W output, which happens to be the power range commonly used for listening to music. This value sets everything in just the optimum condition of functioning.
