I had a desire of making one portable STAX setup. Components in Top to Bottom Order:
1. Rpi Zero 2w running RopieeeXL and being used as HQP NAA via Roon
2. D10
3. 10k MAh power bank
Now I can wirelessly stream DSD128 natively to my L700s. 🙂
Sound: To my not so tuned ears, it is enjoyable and analytical at the same time. I was impressed nonetheless! ESS is well known for being analytical.
P.S I also own 007Ta and 353x. The soundstage is definitely narrower but it doesn't take away anything from the enjoyment and that estat sound.
