MEET THE ALL-NEW Singxer SU-6 DIGITAL AUDIO CONVERTER DESIGNED TO DELIVER PRISTINE AUDIO

Singxer presents the all-new SU-6, a new generation high-performance USB digital audio converter. SU-6 features the latest generation XMOS xCORE-200 series and Xilinx's high-performance large-scale FPGA chips to deliver artefact free audio. The Singxer SU-6 is a digital interface using a thermostat-level clocking system along with Crystek's two CCHD-957 femtosecond crystal oscillators to provide a solid foundation for superior audio signal quality. The SU-6 offers a standard USB2.0 input interface and has an array of output connectivity, including SPDIF for fibre/coaxial and BNC outputs, AES/EBU for XLR balanced output, RJ45 and HDMI interfaces. The Singxer SU-6 is capable of decoding PCM and DSD signals natively so you can enjoy your music in high quality. The power system design is isolated and powered by a 7.5F (7.5 million uf) super-capacitor for clean audio.

EXPERTLY ENGINEERED WITH FOUR SELF DEVELOPED TECHNOLOGIES FOR A STABLE PERFORMANCE

Singxer developed the SU-6 with four newly self-developed technologies to offer outstanding performance. SU-6 features a built-in CPLD pre-shaping technology and FPGA-based source synchronisation technology that re-shapes the isolated I2S signal and eliminates additive jitter caused by the isolation chip. A newly developed FPGA algorithm and built-in FIFO buffer, processes audio data and then outputs a clean audio signal. SPDIF output is re-encoded by FPGA so that the coaxial output can support PCM 384K and DSD DOP128 at the highest quality. A single clock system is utilised, where all circuits of the SU-6 adopt synchronous clock design, in which a USB clock is synthesised by PLL derived from a femtosecond clock. Singxer SU-6 uses CRYSTEK's CCHD-957 high-performance femtosecond crystal oscillator fused with the self-developed constant temperature system and ultra-low noise, super capacitor power supply system to improve the short-stability performance of the clock and audio signal.

EMBEDDED WITH THE LATEST XMOS PROCESSING CHIP AND FEATURES A FULLY ISOLATED DESIGN

Singxer SU-6 comes embedded with the latest XMOS xCORE-200 series chip, using advanced processing technology to double the performance to achieve 1000 MIPS of processing power while processing audio signals accurately and retaining the tone and timbre of your music. SU-6 uses a conversion algorithm that Singxer and the team from XMOS AE developed and implemented with several technical improvements and algorithm optimisations based on the original firmware. To elevate the performance of the SU-6, it features a fully isolated design that can effectively isolate the interference noise between the connected computer and the converter. Singxer SU-6 uses a superior circuit design, using a high-speed FPGA to reform the digital audio signal after isolation, so the audio signal is immune to the jitter of the isolated chip itself.

EQUIPPED WITH HIGH-PERFORMANCE COMPONENTS IN EVERY STAGE OF THE AUDIO ARCHITECTURE

The power system design for the Singxer SU-6 audio section is driven by 7.5F (7.5 million uf) super-capacitors. When in use, the DC adapter that delivers power to the supercapacitors and the internals are then powered by the supercapacitor to ensure clean sound reproduction. The power board is driven by 6 independent LDOs and the digital audio board is powered by a secondary LDO. The clock circuit uses ADI's ultra-low noise LDO, which lays a solid foundation for ensuring the ultimate performance of the output signal. The audio motherboard in the SU-6 uses a 4-layer circuit board design to ensure a complete ground plane and a power plane with a high-speed digital design method to ensure the signal integrity and power integrity of the entire board. Special processing of the clock signal, using packet design and accurate impedance control, is utilised to ensure the signal quality of the clock and improve its anti-interference ability.

EXPERIENCE SEAMLESS CONNECTIVITY WITH AN ARRAY OF INPUT AND OUTPUT CONNECTIONS

Singxer SU-6 offers the most comprehensive options for connectivity with various devices. It features a USB-B type female connector for connecting with source devices along with BNC, SPDIF, XLR, 2 channels of HDMI-I2S, RJ45-I2S and Optical fibre ports for output connectivity. BNC interface outputs standard SPDIF signals, XLR interface outputs standard AES / EBU signals, the word clock (WCLK) outputs uses BNC interface and two channels of HDMI-I2S signal output through HDMI socket. The output MCLK, BCLK, LRCLK, SDATA signal, use standard LVDS differential level. Among them, PIN13 to 15 of the HDMI socket is DSD_ON enabled, where a high-level I2S works in DSD mode. PIN18 is a 5V power output (output current is less than 20ma), which can be used as an interface plug-in indication where The 2-way output I2S line sequence is the same. The RJ45-I2S outputs I2S signals and is a CMOS (5V) single-ended signal, low-impedance output. The outputs of MCLK, BCLK, LRCLK, SDATA signal and Optical fibre deliver standard optical signals. To ensure excellent electrical transmission performance, XLR sockets are made of Swiss Neutrik products, USB-B sockets are made of TE and enthusiast BNC and coaxial sockets are made by Taiwanese manufacturers. Even the Litteluse model fuses are selected from the United States to deliver distortion-free audio.

COMPATIBLE WITH MULTIPLE OPERATING SYSTEMS WITH DEDICATED DRIVERS FOR EASY OPERATION

Singxer SU-6 offers compatibility with the most popular operating systems allowing you to use it with the device of your choice. SU-6 is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 for both 32 and 64 bit systems. You will need to install a dedicated driver for unlocking the full potential of the SU-6. You can also use the SU-6 with MacOS from 10.6 and later OS using the mac driver. You also get compatibility with Native Linux with a UAC2 compliant kernel, utilising the system's driver. SU-6 has been tested on Ubuntu and Daphile systems, based on the INTEL X86 platform and offers full functionality. Android OS compatibility is offered from the 4.2 and above versions of Android. The mobile device needs to support OTG function, in general, for successful operation. Android 5.0 system is supported by default.
