Singxer SU-2 features a self-developed ultra-low clock system, utilising Accusilicon's AS-318B series that achieves ultra-low jitter at the femtosecond level. The interface employs a large-capacity FPGA as the core processing unit for digital audio data, supporting PCM sampling rates up to 768K and DSD up to DSD1024. Drawing on algorithmic expertise from the flagship SU-6 interface, the SU-2 is positioned as a mid-to-high-end solution. Its design integrates three unique technologies: full isolation technology that uses a 150Mbps full isolation chip to eliminate interference from the PC; source synchronisation technology and FPGA shaping technology. These technologies work together to reshape the I2S signal after isolation, effectively removing additive jitter caused by the isolation chip, and resulting in pristine audio quality.

Supports External 10Mhz Clock Or Master Clock For Low Phase Noise & Jitter-Free Sound

Singxer SU-2’s audio interface offers versatile functionality, supporting an external 10 MHz clock input. When used as a standalone master clock, it can output word clocks ranging from 44.1 KHz to 384 KHz or master clocks at 22.5792 MHz and 49.152 MHz. By default, it operates as a master clock when not connected to a USB port. Additionally, the SU-2 can function as a frequency converter, capable of converting a 10 MHz external clock input into a word clock within the same range or outputting a master clock at the specified frequencies. Its clock system, independently developed and featuring Accusilicon's high-performance crystal oscillators ensures low phase noise and low jitter. The SU-2 also supports the use of external 10 MHz clocks, accommodating various atomic clocks, constant-temperature crystal oscillators, and GPSDO inputs, further enhancing its flexibility and precision.

The RCA interface outputs standard S/PDIF signals with a level of 550mV (connected to a standard load) and an output impedance of 75 ohms and the power input is 115V/230V AC while for the internal power supply, TALEMA imported transformer is utilised.

Compatible With Various Systems For An Seamless Listening Experience

Singxer SU-2 is compatible with various systems - Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 delivering 32k/64bit with a need to install a dedicated driver. The Native MacOS 10.6 and later uses the system's driver. The Native Linux with UAC2 compliant kernel, using the system's driver (tested on Ubuntu and Daphile systems, based on INTEL X86 platform). The Android OS 4.2 and above device needs to support OTG function and the Android 9.0 and above systems are supported by default, and systems below 9.0 are recommended to be used with a dedicated player.

Utilises I2S Interface With HDMI socket output For Enhanced Compatibility

Singxer SU-2 audio interface is designed with a flexible I2S configuration, utilising an HDMI socket for output. The interface supports multiple signals, including an LVDS differential signal at 3.3V, a 5V DSD ON signal with low current and an internally processed MUTE signal via a CPLD. The DSD ON signal can be routed to any of the pins 13 to 16 on the HDMI socket, offering customisation for different hardware setups. All switches are conveniently located on the back of the case, enabling easy configuration without opening the device. The factory default setting has all switches OFF. While the SU-2 is designed to be adaptable to various I2S standards, it's important to note that HDMI-I2S implementations can differ significantly across manufacturers, often being proprietary. Due to these variations, the SU-2 may not be compatible with all HDMI-I2S devices. 

The interface includes several switches (1-10) for configuring I2S and clock outputs:

  1. Switches 1-4: These correspond to pins 13-16 on the HDMI socket and can be set to the DSD_ON function when in the ON position.
  2. Switches 5 and 6: These control the clock output mode. Switch 5 uses the internal clock when OFF and an external 10 MHz clock when ON, with an indicator showing a red light when the external clock is active. A flashing red light indicates an unstable or unlocked external clock, while a steady red light signifies proper locking. Switch 6 determines whether the SP/CLK interface outputs SPDIF signals (OFF) or WCLK/MCLK signals (ON).
  3. Switch 7: This allows separate configuration of left and right channels in DSD mode within the I2S signal.
  4. Switch 8: This allows setting the line sequence of BCLK in the I2S signal; when OFF, PIN4 is BCLK+ and PIN6 is BCLK.
  5. Switch 9: This allows setting the line sequence of LRCLK in the I2S signal; when OFF, PIN7 is LRCLK+ and PIN9 is LRCLK.
  6. Switch 10: This allows to set the line sequence of DATA in the I2S signal; when OFF, PIN1 is DATA+ and PIN3 is DATA.
