Asm sound quality....
But battery and ANC should be improved in Anoic 50

Happy with the sound, but the leatherite material used for the headband is made of inferior quality.
Initially when I received the Aonic 50, a few months back, my initial reaction to the sound was of disappointment.
Then I downloaded the Mobile app and fiddled with the equaliser
lo and behold! Holey moley the sound just blossomed.
The Equaliser lets you customise the sound to an incredible degree.
The sound of this headphone is amazing and limited only by your setting in the equaliser and the noise cancellation needs to be off.
Build- sturdy- inspires confidence
Connectivity- excellent- connects to 2 sources without a hitch and switches from one to the other seamlessly
Comfort- Very comfortable but with a hitch- the ears get overheated especially in summer, or maybe I just have hot ears
Portability- not very portable given the size of the rather nice case
Sound - AMAZING
Battery- satisfactory.

Has a more open sound signature,the app after the latest update can be used on anything Spotify,Apple Music etc.
Noice Cancellation is excellent does not have that hiss sound

Only down side would that it is a little heavy and carrying case is huge(although I don't mind that)

The sound is amazing , never heard sound/instruments even with my favorite tracks , Thanks for your advice . Simply superb. Crystal clear sound
I've owned the Shure Aonic 50 for about a week as I write this review, and right off the bat, I was impressed with how crisp and clear they sounded. Compared with ATH-M50x BT headsets which I also own, the bass is not as prominent and the overall sound gels in well with the kind of music that I listen to.
Some observations:-
- The multipoint connection setup works great, I've been using my headsets with my phone and Windows laptop simultaneously without any issues. While connecting it with a laptop running Linux, however, the setup is a little laborious. The connection switched back to my phone every time I got a notification, and I had to manually twiddle around with the settings to get my headsets back to streaming audio from my laptop.
- ANC is meh at best. The audio quality suffers noticeably whilst using ANC at its max setting, and the noise isolation offered is not good enough to mute anything louder than an AC/fan in the room.
- The inbuilt microphone works quite well. I've been taking calls all week with my headsets on with no complaints from the other end, even whilst strolling near a fairly busy road. The performance of the mic suffers a bit when pairing it with my laptop running Linux, but I suspect that's because of the audio driver settings and not the headphones
- The battery life is a little underwhelming, I was used to charging my ATH M50x BTs every few days, whereas these require charging every day and a half. On the plus side, they charge up pretty quickly and you can listen to audio via USB too.
- The carrying case is huge, but not unmanageable. The headphones are a little uncomfortable to hang around your neck whilst not in use, as the cups don't swivel outwards (like the ATH-M50x BTs).
Overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase, with the audio and mic quality, the build, and the Shure EQ app being the positives and the underwhelming ANC/battery life as drawbacks.
