Can you use with other non shanling products to balance a single ended 3.5mm socket?

As the title says, this product is absolutely pinpoint specific, which is useful only for the Shanling M0 Pro DAP. Because of the highly specific need, many of the sellers dont even stock this adapter. Which is why Shanling was supposed to provide it along with the player. But they decided to sell it separately. So, the M0 Pro dap is the first and only product in the world that provides balanced output through the same 3.5mm socket. Which means this adapter has 3.5mm male plug with 5 terminals. At the other end it has a socket for 4.4mm balanced jack.
They have done this to save the space and keep the DAP very compact.
No doubt it is built with strong and high quality material and works very amazingly because of the fact that it allows us to listen to the balanced output.
I like the extra welcome and informative cards that Headphonezone packs inside the box.

It looks like any other 3.5mm to 4.4mm female audio cable, except that its 3.5mm end is balanced and is specially designed to work only with Shanling M0 pro.
Also, beware that using this cable and driving power hungry iems/headphones will have a toll on the battery life of shanling m0 pro and it depletes way faster than advertised battery life for balanced mode.

I can't praise something which has uped the cost of the original product. And 1100rs extra just to
enjoy the full feature set of my device I guess Shanlin should have been more realistic here.
Also I feel what If I want to upgrade my cable but what's the point the adapter is in the chain my quality signal shall never surpass the adapter quality. You are as strong as you weakest link.
So if I want to buy a new premium cable worth 3k then it's just for the softer material and not some hot shot xtra cores . So in that sense the idea in itself is flawed.
And for what is meant to do yeah it does that fine
but for it's price it has to deliver.
I would have been impressed if it was an accessory but the fact that I had to pay for it and wait for delivery is just bonkers.
Much as I don't really see a use-case for this product, the name is misleading as heck and will lead to confusions. The name has everything right - 3.5mm to 4.4mm balanced, leading one to assume that he/she can gain the advantages of the 4.4mm balanced output of a DAC but alas! This is a 4.4mm (female) to 3.5mm (male) connector!
