I recently purchased this product, and my overall experience has been mixed.
The sound quality is decent, but this is the 3.5mm version, which does not support the official application. Because of this, I am unable to make any changes to the equalizer settings, which limits the user experience.
It has only been 4 days since I purchased the product, but the paint has already started coming off, as shown in the attached photos. This raises concerns about the build quality.
Overall, the product is okay, but it would be much better with proper app support and improved durability
I mean the sound is amazing and there are many experts who can tell you about it, so I'll talk about things a layman might notice.
The unboxing experience is pretty sweet as someone who loves anime and headphone zone also gives you a list of songs which you may try(and they are indeed pretty good) so it feels pretty personal. Loved that.
The cable has no mic and no pause/play button which is pretty inconvenient so would recommend buying a cable alongside if this is your first IEM.
Another thing, which many people don't tell is that you should pretty much turn off all the "audio enhancements" built in your phone and laptop cause the Moondrop's sound is already pretty good - or else the sound can vary *wildy*.
If you want to modify the EQ settings, first learn about it then do it own your own based on your preferences.
Other than that, the design is cool and cute at the same time and even the cable looks pretty cool.

I ordered Unboxed version and It comes like a brand new. Sound is amazing but definately you need DAC with 3.5 mm version or you can go with type c version instead. Good built quality and 3.5mm wire is tangle free. But one issue I face was if you use 3.5mm wire there is no mic so you cant take call bcz you listen other but your voice is not audible to other the only solution is you have to unplug the iem every time. First I thougjt I can use phone mic and use iem to listen but its not work anyway. Conlusion: worth of money.

Moondrop chu 2 is the king of the 2000rs price rang and the box & product is looking good but I've faced bit problem a couple time when I listened full volume it'll cracking sound appeared btw here's my ratings

This is my first IEM so far everything is good.
I can feel the change in the quality of the music that I am listening to is increased.

Got my IEM on 14 july 2026 and after listening to this IEM, I would like to talk about MOONDROP CHU 2 (unboxed)
1. I purchased unboxed unit but the product doesn't have any scratch and defect, I felt like new.
2. Looks premium
3. Comfortable
3. Good vocals
4. Instruments separation
5. Overall worth buying better than budget TWS
A vocal and balanced listener should definitely have to go with it
But bass heads should skip this moondrop chu 2 it doesn't have MUCH BASS LIKE THUMPHY.
It doesn't mean this IEM don't have bass but the bass is like in the need amount, heavy bass lovers will disappoint by bass not by quality of sound (got it for 1699₹)
Things to know,
-it's a balance type
-there's no mic which's sad
-dont go for dsp version that's no good and pair it with dac
- if u listen first time, u might get startled with the trebble but u can return it and get an unboxed one cuz they inspect it before shipping.
-u can always tune it to preference.
