Crispy Highs, Smooth Mids and Tight Lows

As usual, the service and delivery offered by HeadphoneZone was great!
Moving to the earphones, I will state my pros and cons

PROS-
-Great pricing
-Lovely build quality and looks (Which are personal)
-The tonality is lovely with some clear highs, above-average mids and wonderful bass (Not for bass heads though)
-The soundstage is wide for the price range
-The carry case looks and feels pretty solid

CONS
-The fit of the wire is slightly unsatisfactory but it depends on each person. I will swap it out if it doesn't feel good over time
-No foam tips were offered along with the extra tips (The tin t3 and even the Blon Bl03 offered some decent foam tips

Overall, I absolutely recommend these for anyone looking to upgrade from something like the Tin T2s or the Blon Bl03s or some of the sub-5-6k iems. As per how they compare to the Starfields, most experts have claimed a very similar sound with a higher emphasis on the mids on the starfields but with a compromise in soundstage and the lows. So you can decide what is more important for you and take the call.

Thanks again HeadphoneZone!

Hey Rajat, thank you so much for sharing your honest review with us. We are sure it will help other potential customers to make an informed decision.

Dont buy this earphone. The product quality is absymal. I bought one three months ago and within three months the right side of earphone fell silent. Even the name of the company is not in their warranty claim. Extremely poor quality product that got worn out within 3 months

Stellar sound!

I have been using the Moondrop Aria since a couple of days. I've mostly played CS GO and listened to some music on my iPhone (lossless via the 3.5 mm dongle), Mac, and PC.

While playing CS GO, the first time I fired the AWP when using the Arias, I was in awe. I haven't heard the AWP like this ever. I've used the Sony WH 1000XM3 and Airpods pro before this. Superb "spacialness" in the game. You can pin point where other players are.

For music too, these are really good. The drop on Laung Gawacha by Nucleya is the best I've heard so far. Yes, to me the WH 1000XM3 does sound better but this come really close. The bass is not overpowering in a way that it will not let you hear other things, but it is definitely punchy. I'm no expert, but they seem to have achieve a near perfect balance on lows, mids, and highs.

The only thing I might change down the line are the ear tips. Might get foam eartips. @Headphonezone any recommendations for this please?

Other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Great sound! Punches above its weight in technicality

Well well ! Are you interested in punchy bass and clear mids ? Dont think much, just get the aria.

I was blown away by the texture in the bass! Look, if you like boomy bass which bleeds into mids look elsewhere. Aria is not for you. If you want to listen to the different layers of bass, all the instruments in the mids then aria is for you.

The imaging and sound stage are well above the price range and will not disappoint you. Its very comfortable to wear for long hours.

PS: I am not a believer in burn in but since the manual specifically said to do a 100 hour burn in, i was curious but used it straight out of the box. It still sounded great. I burned it for about a week and did notice better imaging but not very significant. So don’t think too much about burn in !!

Hey Karthik, we are so happy to hear that you are loving this product! Thanks for taking time and sharing this wonderful review. Happy listening! :)

Beautiful Sound

The Arias have really, really great imaging. I am at awe at the amount of details I can find ajd pinpoint in songs I've heard over a 100 times. I've also noticed that this imaging makes the sound a lot less fatiguing because even if you crank up the volume, it seems to enhance the seperation of instruments instead of just blasting the music louder. I am not a bass head but I do like bass presence and these deliver wonderfully. The bass isn't just punchy but also detailed. Very satisfying.

The downside for me is that the soundstage is somewhat small, giving the music a very "in your head" feeling. But, that's about it. And that's not a dealbreaker by any means.

I would recommend using high quality audio files for these though, simply because the detail retrieval is so good on these that low quality audio files actually soubd terribly mixed and carry a hiss.

Thank you for the awesome review Manas!

Superb!!! Amazing sound quality

Coming from KZ ZSN Pro X and the difference is very noticeable. I am not that an audiophile but loved the soundstage of Aria's. I couldn't listen ZSN PRO X on max volume but Aria is so soothing on high volumes too.

Must buy if upgrading or purchasing first IEM.

There’s a lot to like about the Moondrop Aria. They are meticulously designed, well-built, and great-sounding IEMs. Getting all this right at such a price point isn’t easy, and Aria knocks it out of the park. Easily my favourite IEM in this segment.
