The S12 Pro offers an affordable entry point into the planar magnetic sound experience. Additionally, the S12 PRO comes with a versatile modular stock cable, allowing for easy connection to both unbalanced and balanced sources, enhancing its versatility even further.
I enjoyed the Letshuoer S12 quite a bit. It impressed me most with its soundstage and midrange fidelity. Its emphasis is presented cleanly, providing a strong body of frequency content that makes each mix feel complete.
The S12 Pro are arguably one of the better sets to consider. Boasting fast transients, above-average technicalities, a solid build, and a balanced V-shaped tuning, the S12 Pro do most departments well.
The LetShuoer S12 Pro is an IEM with a small and lightweight monitor shell, which offers a pretty comfortable wearing experience with my average sized ear chonca. The passive noise isolation of the S12 Pro is on a sufficient level.
It's an overall well-rounded IEM that can suit a wide range of sound preferences. Furthermore, the inclusion of both foam and silicone tips is extremely useful for those who wish to alter the sound output.

I was using the ZS 10 pro which i had purchased on a HPZ sale a couple of years back. During exercise i use the Sony 1000xm4.
I initially was planning to buy a pair of good open-back headphones. But due to vicinity of a main road to my apartment i decided to wait till I moved to a quieter area. I set my budget to 10-12.5 k and did a lot of research on what to get. I zeroed down on Hidiz MP145, Letshuoer - S12 PRO, FIIO-FH3 and the 7HZ - Legato. Decided to try the Letshuoer - S12 PRO as they are the cheapest planar magnetic in-ears and the Hidiz MP145 was out of stock by the time i made a decision. 7Hz - timeless was tempting but decided to stick to my budget for now.
Listening source: Apple music with High res activated on PC and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
It came with 3 pairs of foam tips and 3 pairs of silicone tips. As i sweat a lot i chose the medium sized silicone tips.
The IEMs are very light and comfortable to wear. I used them for 2 hours continuously without any pain / fatigue.
To be honest i was disappointed the first time i listened to them.
Shanti Mantra by Pandit Ravishaankar is the first track i listened to. The bass response and the thump of the drums were not as I expected. But the vocals and the instrumentals were awesome. I let the IEMs burn in for sometime. Still not very happy.
I played around with the EQ settings and I started to like them.
I paired it with my Shanling UA3. I was using the 3.5mm Unbalanced port. Sounds great. Today I used it with the 4.4mm balance port. It sounds awesome. The channel separation was good.
I tried to use it with the Astell and Kern XB10. Was not happy with both the balanced and unbalanced ports. It worked OK but the warmth was missing.
On my PC i used directly and also with the Shanling UA3.
Direct connection worked well (way better than with the XB10) but with the UA3 it was awesome. Though i am using the same UA3 on both the PC and my phone, somehow it sounds better with the PC rather than with the phone.
Out of the box i felt bass was a bit subdued. But with equalizer settings got a better bass response. The vocals are good.
I hear Pandit Ravishankar's Shanti Mantra and Sajni Re (From Laapata ladies) on Amazon music and parallely on Apple music in High res mode. The difference was not very much appreciable on my KZ but on the S12 the difference was very obvious.
Reading a bit about why i got a sub-optimal bass response i think i have to change the tips to different sizes and check out what is suiting me better.
I am learning more about the nuances of music listening with these pairs. Hope to have more experience by the time the next sale arrives.
