Two Way Active Bookshelf Speaker
Active speakers are engineered to have amplifiers built-in to them and they have one dedicated for each of the two drivers. The YU4 speakers perform well indeed providing complex soundstage and enough detail to engage and delight the ear. Desktop speakers, speakers for a bedroom, speakers for use either side of a computer: that kind of thing.
The Kanto YU4 with matching S4 stands make an excellent near field setup. Their size is a good middle ground between real bookshelf speakers and desktop monitors and they have excellent features in a polished housing.

What is the warranty period on the Kanto YU4 and how do I claim warranty?
How do I get my speakers to enter Bluetooth™ pairing mode?
You are experiencing poor audio quality.
2. Ensure that the rear of the speaker is spaced away from the wall by at least 8 inches, allowing the rear port function to be left unimpeded.
3. Set the bass and treble levels to the default setting by pressing the EQ reset buttons on the remote.
4. Test a different song or source to isolate the issue.
You are experiencing buzzing, hissing or distortion?

There’s no audio coming from an attached subwoofer.
