DESCRIPTION

SPDIF is the main digital audio output signal for a variety of mainstream devices like 4K Smart TVs, Xbox, PS4 and more. These tend to suffer from low-quality transmission and an abundance of jitter. The SPDIF iPurifier2 optimises the quality of this signal transmission for enhanced audio quality. You get an entirely restored signal, jitter-free sound that has greater dynamic contrast, warmth and detail.

The SPDIF iPurifier2 is compatible with up to 192kHz, 24-Bit, DSD, DoP and even Dolby Digital and DTS signals. Enjoy a Bit-Perfect i.e. unchanged signal transfer (highly unusual for SPDIF devices).It works with Toslink and digital cables on practically any SPDIF source and can connect to two devices at once with SPDIF and optical outputs.

The SPDIF output is galvanically isolated so that the electrical circuits are separated to allow only the audio signal to pass. AMR’s 10MHz Global Master Timing (GMT) represents a total ‘out of the box’ systematic digital solution that solves the digital SPDIF jitter once and for all. With Reclock® and Regenerate®, the signal remains true and strong and the industry-standard ‘square wave’ (which depicts the desired signal) is restored.

The SPDIF iPurifier2 is packed with features that offer a much lower jitter when compared with the original SPDIF iPurifier. It has: Super-Fast 10Mhz Global Master Timing Femto Clock: For smoother sound. 4 Tantalum 100uF Capacitors: For better power supply. Improved MCU Firmware: For marvellous performance optimisation. Gold-Plated EMI/RFI Shielding: For noise-free audio. iFi iPower 5V: For a sound that's cleaner than battery-operated systems.

Great little product, but does not include iPower Low Noise Power Adapter

5 stars for the product - The SPDIF reclocker inside this works really well, clarity and separation are much improved when listening through my Gustard R26 DAC. Bonus feature is it can convert between any combination of below:
1. Optical toslink
2. Mini toslink with included adapters
3. Coaxial
4. BNC with included adapters
This product is a must buy for music/home theater aficionados. Note that I get great results by connecting to a Topping P50 Linear Power Supply.

What was disappointing - Product advertised as having iPower Low Noise Power Supply. This was not included in the box, Support spoke with the brand and sent me a low cost 5V power supply which isn’t useful (low cost, high noise, not audiophile enough.) The iFi iPower power supply used to retail for about ₹5K on HPZ, and a generic power supply costing a few hundred rupees isn’t really a replacement. IMHO, the iFi iPurifier should be suitably down-priced if iFi are no longer including the iPower low noise power supply.

Product is good and can be used as format converter from toslink to spdif & vice versa, but price is not justified as the low noise ifi 5V power supply is not included in the box & HPZ support provided a generic 5V ifi power supply on complaining about the same. HPZ website mentioned that ifi low noise power supply included but found out from customer care after delivery that ifi has stopped supplying the low power power supply. If so kindly reduce the price of the product

Not the product but not happy with HeadphoneZone

I brought this item, expecting to enhance the coaxial connection from my CD player to DAC. When I received the product, I checked that it do not have the required power supply. The description states requirement as 5V, 500 mA power supply. On the website of iFi audio importance of good power supply is explained. Now as I do not have a power supply, I raised issue with HFZ and I was assured that they have the power supply in stock and they will ship. What I got here is a generic 300mA power supply. This amateur response wasn’t expected from HFZ. I am not sure if the technical team is naive or they have done it deliberately but ultimately I am unable to use the product. I just ended up spending money without being able to use it. I was just expecting that HFZ appreciates the issue and helps me in getting the correct power supply which fulfills purpose of the product, as I am unable to use product, I am not in position to provide any review.

Must accessory for Audiophile!

Thanks to Headphone Zone to bring this product in India!
Added to the output of CD audio player and output of the iPurifier 2 to TEAC DAC through optical. First impression is a noticeable difference. Felt the Bit Perfect in every pitch of the song. Improved sound stage and dynamics. Bass is much tighter and perfect for the beat. More refinement on the high frequency section. Happy to have lot of compatible connector accessories well packed and well delivered by HPZ. It’s must product for every audiophile who loves to listen their ACD.
