Real and natural sounding IEM

The FiiO FH7 is my second purchase from the Chinese firm. I had read and watched at least 15 reviews before finalising this one. The other one on the radar was Moondrop Blessing 2.
I finally chose the FH7 because of my prior experience with FiiO, and in terms of overall quality, I thought the FH7 had a slightly better soundstage than the Blessing 2.
Be that as it may, I was quite stoked when I heard it first right out of the box.
Without going into all the technical details and nuances that a full-fledged member of the audiophile review community would, let me break down my views into a few quick points:
1) Packaging and design: Top of the line. The design, the accessories, and the ease of unboxing is outstanding. The design itself is remarkably beautiful. The black exterior of the earbuds and the subdued gold accents, make it look rich and classy, with no hint of it being flashy or overwhelming. The cable is tough, yet flexible. Most important, it does not tangle.

The sound experience: As I mentioned earlier, soundstaging was the biggest reason I chose this, and it does not disappoint. It has a wide soundstage, much better than the Sony WH-XM4, which I purchased a month or so ago.

The bass is rich, without being overly thumpy. A thumping bass puts me off, and unless you are drunk and dancing in a night club, extreme thump makes no sense. And I don't even drink.
The treble is a little too rich at times, but I changed the eartips to the memory foam ones provided in the box, and all was okay. But out-of-the-box was too heavy on treble.
The mids are just perfect. I was a little worried about the vocals too with the original tips, but the change helped, too.

Overall, an excellent buying decision, and I am not going to regret it. I pair it with my Shanling UA2, and though the DAC-AMP is a battery guzzler on my OP9 Pro, the experience with Apple Music has been simply out of this world.

Now i am coming to the Fiio FH7 IEM...
If you want excellent sound quality i.e, all the details(highs), soft vocals(mids) & great bass(lows) from these iem you have to choose the memory foam ear tips, an amplifier to take out all the juice from it & balanced filter(black colour one). I am using Fiio Q3 (using balanced 4.4 mm port) as an Amp.
Now from the above setup sound quality from my perception are as follows:-
1. By using Bass filter(red colour one):-
a) Bass(lows)-10/10.
b) vocals(Mids)-7/10.
c) details(highs)-5/10.
2. By using Balanced filter(black colour one):-
a) Bass(lows)-9.5/10.
b) vocals(Mids)-10/10.
c) details(highs)-10/10.
3. By using high boost filter(green colour one):-
a) Bass(lows)-4/10.
b) vocals(Mids)-9/10.
c) details(highs)-10/10.

Imaging=9.5/10.

instrumental separation=9.5/10.

I am highly satisfied with the purchase. Worth every penny.
