These are my first set of IEMs at this price point and I am blown away with the sound quality. I got this a month back and it’s been through its burn in period as this has become my daily driver during commute and also during home listening . I use them with my iPhone using the Shanling UA2 DAC And with the Sony Walkman NW ZX708 using primarily with 4.4mm balanced plug. I primarily listen to metal ( Tool, Meshuggah, Periphery etc) and occasionally Electronic music. The soundstage is just about wide , instrumentation is clear and vocals stands out well . It does not muddle up sound and is very tight in pretty much across all frequencies . It comes with lot of accessories but honestly I have been using it straight out of the box and they sound amazing. One good thing I would want to call out is that these need not be squeezed deep into the ear canal to get a good seal. Just a bit to get a good seal and one can listen to music for hours without the irritation of something shoved deep in the ear .

FiiO FH15:
Tuned to sound more fun than reference, the FH15's sound is quite alike the older gen FH7, but with smoother treble. The soundstage is wide (similar to FH7), but not too deep. Of course, the FH9 is considerably better in terms of layering, seperation and resolution, the FH15 is quite good considering the price segment. The bass definitely has an upper hand, but it isn't as hard hitting as the FH5s Pro, which is a crazy bass monster. The mids are well nuanced, Treble is smooth and somewhat de-emphasisized (especially with the LC-RD Pro cable*) but not absent. I'd like to highlight here that I haven't yet tried the green (treble) and red (Bass) filters. This write-up is based on the black (reference) filter.
The earpieces are relatively small and light. The dragon scale theme on the faceplate looks elegant and is a welcome change from the mech-armor vented theme on the FH5s / FH7s / FH9. The IEM comes with a modular cable that is spec'd similar to the LC-RC, but with a different aesthetic. The cable comes with the 3.5mm SE termination by default. FiiO has included a 4.4mm BAL termination plug in the package, but decided to skip the 2.5mm BAL plug this time. As mentioned earlier FH15 comes with 3 filters red (Bass), black (reference) and green (treble). In terms of eartips, the package includes 3 pairs of HS18 eartips in 3 sizes (1 Pair each of S, M and L) and the entire set of HS19 eartips with a cool storage box. A HB1 hard case, a cleaning brush and an MMCX assist tool is also included along with a user manual. FiiO has thoughtfully included every accessory that one may need, especially if this is the only IEM you have / keep.
In terms of amping needs, the FH15 is quite easy to drive and sounds great off the BTR7 and Sony ZX707.
Overall, the FH15 is a very good option for those who like something with a darker tone and fun sounding.

The FiiO FH15 uses the unique Knowles ED BA drivers for mid frequencies. These drivers enable lusher vocals and a more musical sound, working in tandem with strategically positioned tuning holes in the FH15's shell. CUSTOM-MADE NOTCH FILTER ELIMINATES ANY UNWANTED RESONANCE PEAKS
The most critical part of hybrid driver in-ear monitors is the transition and the tuning for the drivers to reproduce dedicated frequencies. For multi-driver hybrid earphones, combining them requires one to not only look at the drivers as a unit but also independently. FiiO first tuned each driver separately as if they were on their own and then scientifically combined the drivers. FiiO has incorporated a notch filter technology in the FH15 for this purpose. The notch filter is specifically custom-made for the FH15 and gives it its distinctive sound: A Helmholtz resonator works with the mid-frequency ED drivers, resulting in denser-sounding mids giving vocals and instruments more realism without sounding thin. Additionally, the resonator is connected to an opening to eliminate unwanted resonance peaks and overlapping frequencies produced by the different drivers. This design aspect helps maintain better coherency among the drivers while eliminating unwanted sibilance.

FiiO has used its patented S.Turbo acoustic design to get the optimised frequency response for the FH15. The balance between bass, mids, treble and clarity is the ideal sound goal of many audiophiles, but this is easier said than done with multi-driver hybrid IEMs. This is because the multiple drivers naturally produce frequencies that overlap and interfere with each other. Thus, crossovers divide the frequencies between the drivers to achieve clear, coherent sound. The RC circuit design is used in the FH15 to manage the crossover in the higher frequencies by utilising a high-pass filter. The traditional low-pass filtering LC circuit controls the crossover of the lower frequencies. The FiiO development team worked with the basic principle of sound waves and developed the patented S.Turbo acoustic design. This design reduces frequency response overlap between the bass and mid drivers for more coherency between the different drivers and a more balanced frequency response for a cleaner and more natural sound.

Due to the small area of the FH15's faceplate, precise five-axis CNC machining ensures that each texture on the faceplate is suitably 3D and eye-catching. Specifically, fine cutter heads of 0.8mm diameter are used in the CNC machining process to ensure that the textures on the faceplate are both suitably attractive to the eye and luxurious, feeling to the touch. The FH15 is a fresh reboot of in-ear monitor design, featuring a dragon scale motif in a moderately-sized oval shape that conforms and fits perfectly in the ear for greater comfort. The modern minimalistic lines transition smoothly into the classical dragon scale design elements, giving the FH15 a lively robust look.
BUNDLED WITH HIGH-PURITY LITZ-BRAIDED CABLE WITH SWAPPABLE TERMINATIONS AND HS18 EARTIPS
The FH15 comes with a 152-wire silver-plated monocrystalline copper cable featuring eight strands of Litz-braided wire. The Litz braiding specifically reduces the skin and proximity effects, leading to reduced eddy current losses and improved high-frequency resolution. Additionally, the audio plugs are swappable, and included are 3.5mm/4.4mm plugs. The FiiO FH15 comes loaded with accessories. One of the accessories is FiiO's HS18 eartips. Included with the FH15 are three pairs of the FiiO HS18 ear tips. Being only 0.4mm thick, the HS18 is comfortable to wear. The HS18 also features a large opening, the same size as the earphone nozzle, to minimise barriers between the earphone and eardrum for maximum detail and reduced high-frequency sound loss.
