I bought this one recently, one month hardly. While the left side earbud works perfect. The right side earbud gives an unbalancing sound. Which makes it a horrible experience leading to ear pain. No physical damage. Outside it looks so perfect ( Fiio earphones) Very much disappointed. I wish headphone zone could resolve this.
Warm sounding pretty comfortable iems which you can enjoy for a long period without fatigue. You won't get the wow effect of the kz zs 10 pro but the kz sharp tones & sibilance is very fatiguing & makes you wanna throw them away after 30min or so. Final thoughts, you get what you pay for.

These are great IEMS..only problem is less Noise cancellation..you will not get these kind of IEMs at this price..

The Unboxing Experience : PREMIUM. All the components spelt top notch quality & design.
The Sound : Straight out of the box, the IEMs sound good with a "spread-out V" sound signature. I then teamed it up with the FiiO BTR3 DAC/Amp - I was not prepared for the wondrous results : the base became warmer & smoother, the mids became more detailed and the treble more nuanced ( and thankfully not shrill ) - the sound signature transformed to a smooth shallow "W". I am waiting to see how much more the sound transforms after the burning in of the IEMs. I am simply delighted, very happy.

It requires burning period to get full potential, it is little warm, basic bass, decent mid and treble, but compare to fiio ex1 10% improvement and if mcx cable is added instead 2pin cable and n52 magnet instead of n50, then it could be good vfm. Overall it is very basic good iem for the asked price

Update : just bought Fiio Btr5 and now the FD1 highs sounds perfect, and sound stage is very wide now .., increasing 1 more star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐...i must say fiio is very underrated
It's for Bass Lovers . But the highs sounds harsh with the default cable provided.
But it's sounds great with tripowin 2.5 mm cable , highs sounds perfect
