This is the best sounding earphones I have heard till now. But one has to find the right ear tips to get the best out of these earphones. Loving it.

So I was a bit scared at first wondering if inserting as instructed might harm my ears. But the sound isolation is amazing. Better than anc as it blocks everything to a degree without discrimination. Hence, listening to music even at really low volume during commuting feels perfect. Now that I have started using them, I have packed and shipped my headphones to my hometown. Even though they don't pack a microphone I don't want to take them off when making a call because getting them out and then putting them back in is annoying 😭. Rest assured, the music sounded worth the price. You will not be disappointed in that area. I have been going down the rabbit hole exploring the iem, dac, amp, drivers, graphs, low, mids, high... Aria and hexa were in everyone's recommendation but they were not in stock then. With a heavy heart, i started to explore other options. Don't know how but I came across er2xr and started exploring the series. Er3 was much appreciated and I could not find reviews that would let me down. Since they were my stepping stones into the world of audiophiles, I made a gamble with them and paired them with ibasso dc03 pro.
They are xr yet the base is normal, I expected the same as said in reviews. The wire is pretty normal, I am a careful person but I doubt I can make it last for long. I have to now go down the rabbit hole of wires and connectors. Life was simple back when I enjoyed YouTube music on one plus neckband. Nothing sound good now other than lossless on er3xr.

I had heard a lot of hype surrounding this piece of equipment and I wasn’t disappointed when I listened to them. It far surpassed my expectations and gave me a spine tingling experience listening to my library. I have been rediscovering my favourites with these and I realised that there had been so much to my favourites that I was oblivious to. It’s a whole new experience and is rekindling my love for my favourites and also pushing me to re-explore genres and styles which I had deemed tasteless in the past. I have now learned that even a disliked genre can shine through with the correct equipment.

I have been listening to these using a tiny lightning to 3.5 dongle with Apple Music 16bit/44khz and Hi-Res 24bit/192khz and everything in between.

First impressions after 3 hours of listening through the day has been that this is as flat as a savannah with a modestly inclined bass. Beautifully and tastefully done. I’m not a bass head so lack of that right-in-your-face thump is not a problem and on the contrary actually quite appreciated. That being said the quality of the bass is top notch. You will hear all frequencies as they were meant to be captured, without colouration. It brings the focus back to the track and allows you to listen with intention. And when you do, boy there is so much to listen to. This accurate representation of sound alone merits this iem a solid 9/10 in my opinion.

The soundstage has also made a unique impression on me. It is best described as a mini concert in your brain. I would borrow another gentleman’s analogy of “like plugging a usb drive full of music right into your brain”. It is something you will have to experience in order to understand it better. It has good depth, width, instrument separation and imaging.

After going through multiple genres, I have noticed that this iem performs exceptionally well with busier tracks like symphonies and ensembles. If you are someone who enjoys listening to classical and jazz this is a no brainer under 15k.

I can safely say that I did not have the faintest of clue what classical music sounded like before. I have been listening to classical on sub par equipment for a decade and now the er3xr has made known to me the true beauty of this genre.

Ensembles also maintain their integrity and the instruments never get lost in oblivion. It’s breathtakingly beautiful. My Moondrop Chus never did justice to such music.

All in all, I am extremely pleased with this iem and can easily recommend this piece of equipment to lovers of classical music, ensembles and really all kinds of busy music.

I did my research on them before buying and everywhere i looked up i heard nothing but good things about er3xr and it's all true, not gonna get into technical stuff but straight Outta box they sound absolutely beautiful can't wait to burn them I'm sure they'll only get better.

I bought it and used it for 3 months and my experience was good. The sounds are crisp and I cannot say any earphone has come close to producing some of the subtle sounds this earphones were able to produce.

But as of today I felt I could shove them a little more deep into the ear canal and did it. I WAS AMAZED. This felt like I was in a theatre by myself. You need to understand, the intended usage is to put them as deep into the ear canal as possible. Even if you think you have done it, you should do it a little more. Pull your ears a little while inserting so that you create more room for the plugs to go in. Once they are sealed, you cannot hear anything outside, not even a little bit.

Now I know what piano, Sax and violin really sounds like. Etymotics are not good/bad sound wise, they are the only option, every other audio equipment sounds fake (i am listening since 13).
One has to insert them to insane depths and get used to it. Once there, it feels like the brain is producing the sound from within rather than an equipment from the outside. Every other iem portrays fake sense of sound stage and imaging (using inaccurate tuning). Detail is accurate as well, other iems amplify certain frequencies to sound more detailed but in reality are only adding resonances (harshness/sibilance).
The cable is a complete trash and I am worried about a future replacement due to limited options on the net.

SERIOUS COMPANIES DON'T ADVERTISE AGGRESSIVELY OR HAVE CARTOONS ON THE BOXES...my opinion of course.

They have enthralling sound. You can easily pickup details that you've never knew they were there. It is an absolute must have at this price.
