This is an excellent adapter for audio usage. I have similar products from other brands. But this is my first product from an audio equipment manufacturer for music listening purposes. The immediate difference is heat generation and dissipation. This adapter does not heat at all, even after prolonged usage. The choice of material and the coating on that material play a vital role in keeping the heat down. Similar products from other non-audio brands tend to heat a lot. The construction of this adapter is sturdy, though it feels very light in the hand.
And then there is the audio reproduction part. I could not go past volume level 30 on my MacBook and Linux systems after attaching my DAC/Amp and IEMs to this adapter. It provides minimal resistance to the audio signal that passes through it. It does not alter the sound that goes through it. I'm very happy with the product! And special thanks to folks at Headphone Zone for sending it to me super fast!
