Cambridge Audio's all-new Dorado 2020 is an upgrade to the original Dorado launchedin 2016. Dorado 2020 sports a fresh hybrid design while still retaining the legacy of the original. TheseIEMs have a simple yet powerful setup and it comprises one balanced armature driver and one dynamic driver.Dorado 2020 is designed to offer a true hybrid design and sonic excellence.
FEATURING A MIX OF A BALANCED AND A DYNAMIC DRIVER
Cambridge Audio Dorado 2020 comes with a single balanced armature driver alongpaired with a custom-tuned 10mm A.D.L.C. diaphragm dynamic driver. This allows you to enjoy sparkling highsas well as rich and dynamic bass. You also get to enjoy detailed and nuanced vocals.
BRINGING BACK THE CLASSIC CERAMIC BODY DESIGN
With Dorado and Vega, Cambridge Audio has come back to its original ceramic body design for its earphones. The density of ceramic excellently complements the dynamic drivers by keeping the vibrations under control. Moreover, ceramic has a feature of scratch resistance which adds to the durability of these IEMs. These ceramic shells have to undergo an intense sintering process followed by a polishing process which gives these shells an eye-catching and glossy look.
OFFERING ENHANCED SOUND ALONG WITH WEARING COMFORT
Dorado 2020 features machined brass spout with a ‘gunmetal grey’ P.V.D. finish. It has a unique conical shape and decreased diameter which enhances audio tuning as well as the wearing comfort. The balanced armature driver is installed at the centre of the spout. Its proximity to the exit enhances its presence.
