Bass Focused sound and Premium IEM Part-2

7Hz Legato:
• Bass: Very bold and impactful, the dual dynamic driver design places significant emphasis on the lower frequencies. This can be very enjoyable for bass-heavy music genres but may overpower other frequencies.
• Midrange: The midrange on the Legato can feel recessed due to the dominant bass. Vocals and instruments might not sound as forward and clear as on the Cascara.
• Treble: Treble performance is softer and darker. This can result in a less airy and less detailed high-end, which may not appeal to those who enjoy a bright, sparkly treble.
• Soundstage: The soundstage is moderately wide, but not as expansive as the Cascara. Imaging is decent but can be less precise due to the bass-heavy nature of the sound.
Build Quality and Comfort
Campfire Audio Cascara:
• Build Quality: Premium materials and craftsmanship are evident in the Cascara. The housing is robust and aesthetically pleasing, built to last.

Bass Focused Sound and Premium IEM Part 1

Hi, all my life I was in search of perfect sound equipment and in the search of this fine listening equipment journey, I found Headphone Zone and found this site very helpful and special thanks to Sh. Raghav Somani with whom efforts this thing even be possible in India.
Today I am sharing this review with a very happy and satisfying experience of campfire cascara.
My Head Phone listening set up is a fully balanced IFI (Zen can + Zen one signature (with Burr Brown DAC Chip) + Zen streamer) other than that I have Chord Qutest DAC (with FPGA Chip), FIIO KA17 (With ESS Dual Saber ES9069Q Chip), FIIO K11 R to R ladder DAC. So, I have practically all the category of DAC available like FPGA, R to R ladder, Delta Sigma (In this both Burr Brown + ESS Saber ES9069Q DAC Chip)
My Stereo 2.2 setup is Marantz PM10 pure analogue amplifier + Schiit Freaya Plus with high end tubes pre amplifier + Focal Aria Evo X N°3 Speakers + Jamo D 6SUB 15" 400-Watts THX Certified Subwoofer + Definitive Technology DN12 Ultra Performance 12 Inches Subwoofer + IFI ZEN Streamer + Chord Qutest DAC + Static voltage power supply.
I bought lots of IEM like Shure first gen SE846, KZ ZS10 ProX, FIIO JD1 and 7HZ Legato among all of them I found Legato is more of like my taste and I thought I found perfect iem but after listening them for more than year I found something is missing and my journey start again and I shortlisted extra bass sound signature flagship iem and my first choice is FATfreq - Maestro Mini Universals but unfortunately it was not available so from half-hearted I choose Campfire Audio – Cascara and totally believe on the headphone zone experts who carefully categorized the iem according to their sound signature. It’s a 44999 Rs. decision but I did the decision and got the parcel at lightning speed at my house and then the tough part begin. I put the iem on my balanced set up and play it for first time and I was disappointed as compare to 7HZ legato that the iem was not up to the mark and then I start the process of burn in of new iem with 70% of sound with white noise. After 32 hours of (four days 8 hours daily) I finally give once again a try and to my surprise it’s a whole new world. My detail experience is as follows:
Driver Configuration and Technology
Campfire Audio Cascara:
• Driver: 10mm dual magnetic dynamic driver. Dual magnetic drivers generally provide better control over the diaphragm, resulting in improved sound quality and lower distortion.
• Frequency Response: 5 Hz – 20 kHz. This extended range allows the Cascara to reproduce very deep bass and very high treble, providing a more complete sound spectrum.
• Impedance: 23 ohms. Impedance can affect audio quality. Higher impedance means more resistance to the incoming signal or sound, so more power is needed to drive it. Headphones with an impedance of 8–50 ohms are considered low-impedance and are easier to drive. This means they can reach a higher sound pressure level (SPL) when using a device with a low output voltage. Headphones with an impedance of 25 ohms or more require more power to deliver high audio levels. This protects them from damage and allows them to be used with a wider range of audio equipment.
• Sensitivity: 94 dB @ 1 kHz: 16.6 mVrms. This indicates how loudly the IEM can play for a given input power. The Cascara's sensitivity suggests it can produce a reasonable volume without needing a powerful amplifier.

7Hz Legato:
• Driver: Dual dynamic drivers with N52 Magnet (12mm woofer + 6mm tweeter/midrange). The separation of bass and midrange/treble drivers aims to deliver better clarity across different frequency ranges.
• Frequency Response: 10 Hz – 20 kHz. This range covers most of the audible spectrum for humans, but doesn't reach as high or low as the Cascara.
• Impedance: 26 ohms.
• Sensitivity: 108 dB/v@1Khz Higher sensitivity than the Cascara, meaning it can achieve higher volumes with less power.
Sound Signature and Performance
Campfire Audio Cascara:
• Bass: The Cascara’s bass is deep and well-extended, benefiting from the dual magnetic driver design which offers better control and less distortion. The bass response is powerful yet controlled, maintaining a clean separation from the mids.
• Midrange: Warm and natural, providing a pleasing tone for vocals and instruments. This slight warmth adds richness to the sound but ensures that the detail and clarity are not lost.
• Treble: The treble is clean and detailed, though some listeners might find it lacking in the very highest frequencies. This contributes to a slightly warmer overall sound signature.
• Soundstage: The Cascara provides a wide and immersive soundstage, which is unusual for in-ear monitors. This spatial quality is enhanced by its precise imaging capabilities, giving a sense of depth and placement of instruments.
