In case you receive the Campfire Audio - Astrolith with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The free replacement will be shipped only once the original order is returned.

In a league of its own

I shall only talk about its sonic capabilities and everything else that encapsulates the sound that the Astrolith’s dual planar driver configuration (a first in an IEM) delivers.
Campfire Audio Astrolith, oh my! Where do I begin? Let me first say that it exceeded all my expectations especially for the price at which they are offering this mythical, magical, and mesmerising IEM. I had a very neutral feeling at the back of my mind prior listening to this as I have had the privilege to listen and own many TOTL IEMS but Campfire has always had a special place in my heart. Alright enough of beating around the bush and let us talk about how the Astrolith sounds and why it is also very special and different from many other IEMs that are TOTL.

The Bass:-
Blew me away, especially with the quantity of thump and rumble, very difficult to believe that it does not have a single or multiple set of DD. Planars have great speed, but Campfire tuned this one in a different way that it has the speed and accuracy expected from a planar driver but also the rumble and the quantity of a DD. Exemplary!! The icing on the cake is that this alluring bass does not bleed into the mids, it’s an emphatic bass that always exists and one that shall not oversaturate the overall natural yet revealing tonality.

The Mids:-
Extremely smooth and the transition from the bass to mids is simply sublime, and this where the Astrolith starts to pull away from many other TOTL IEMs, for this coherent bass to mids transition especially given the fact that it has a thumping bass which has stupendous quality and quantity. Male vocals, I dare say are slightly recessed compared to the female vocals but nevertheless lacking anything. In a nutshell, this creates a gargantuan soundstage with great spread from left to right and also providing very accurate imaging which feels slightly holographic yet very precise and airy.

The Treble:-
Astrolith’s treble is an audiophile’s dream. I won’t say it is hot but it definitely makes its presence quite prominent. I can confidently say that it does not venture into the sibilant category but rather adds to the entire frequency spectrum an overall added extension. It is just perfectly done which is responsible for the Astrolith’s grandiose sound presentation, just uncanny!

The Astrolith is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and truly is a class apart. It is ruthlessly unforgiving if the quality of the source and music is not up to the mark but feed it with good stuff and it will keep you enchanted. The detail retrieval is again almost second to none but without making it fatiguing to listen to. One thing which I must address (though I said that I won’t talk about anything apart from its sound quality) is that the provided ear-tips simply don’t do justice to this IEM. That being said, tip rolling is quite standard when you purchase a TOTL IEM and could even be quite enjoyable rather than being arduous. Campfire Audio have yet again surpassed their own high standards, withholding their world class repertoire and the future looks very bright for the brand with the release of the Astrolith.
