Burson Audio - Soloist 3X Grand Tourer

Burson Audio Soloist 3X Grand Tourer is embedded with the industry-leading 2 MUSES72320 Volume Control chips buffered individually. Symmetrical dual-mono is beautiful and achieves the highest possible audio performance. Under the hood, the Grand Tourer has two independently powered mono amps in mirrored symmetry. The resulting pitch-black soundstage and crisp details are breathtaking! It uses eight output transistors of which two are creating an amplifier module and it has four modules for a fully balanced signal.

The Soloist 3X Grand Tourer achieves transparency by using three V6 Vivid Op-Amps per channel. Burson Audio, on the other hand, does not dictate your listening experience. It does, however, cater to your preferences by allowing you to modify the Op-Amps, allowing you to customise your listening experience. With hundreds of audio Op-Amps to choose from, you may customise your listening preference. The V6 Vivid is lively, dynamic, and transparent. Its remarkable dynamic range and three-dimensional soundstage are magical. The Solid-State V6 Vivid Op-Amps are used in the input and line-level output stages, and thanks to the DIP8 sockets soldered on the motherboard, anyone can replace them for different audio Op-Amps, which is fantastic for Op-Amps rollers.

The Burson Audio Soloist 3X Grand Tourer's beating heart is designed with five sets of Burson Max Current Power Supplies. They are pushing these MCPS to reach their full potential. So much so that they consume 90W when idle and need active cooling. Burson Audio created its own Max Current Power Supply (MCPS), which is used in all of its devices and Grand Tourer has also been embedded with this technology. The Grand Tourer does not trace power, despite blasting out 10 Watts. It seeks purity. Reference Class Volume Control, 120dB Channel separation, 0.5dB fine control, 3 power levels, and 3 levels of crossfeed is embedded in Soloist 3X Grand Tourer. Live music and loudspeaker sound are combined as it reaches your ears. It gives you a sense of where you are. Hardware-based crossfeed emulation is available in three settings on the Soloist 3X Grand Tourer. As a result, you'll be able to listen to your favourite songs exactly how the artist intended. It offers three levels of gain controls low, medium, and high.

An amplifier rarely provides headphone & subwoofer mode, the engineers at Burson Audio have embedded this functionality in Soloist 3X Grand Tourer to create an immersive listening experience. Industry aristocrats such as Pass Lab and AVM use the MUSES72320 volume control to reduce such distortion in their flagship preamps. The Soloist 3X Grand Tourer uses one MUSES72320 + V6 Vivid discrete buffer volume control per channel, eliminating any chances of cross-channel interference. Soloist 3X Grand Tourer also comes with a fully functional remote for easy operability. It is a Powerful Class A headphone amp delivering a power output of 10W XLR (balanced) and 5W Single-ended. It has a Stereo preamp with SUB output. Embedded with two Stereo XLR Input, two RCA inputs, a quarter-inch headphone jack, 3.5mm microphone input, it also comprises MIC Input BYPASS functionality which takes gaming to levels that gamers have never experienced before. Burson Audio Soloist 3X Grand Tourer has a wide array of buttons like on-off, input and output selectors settings, and flip the screen button.

The Burson Cool Case already has the largest heat sink of any headphone amplifier that dissipates heat, increasing the service life of the amplifier. Despite this, Burson Audio engineers chose active cooling for the Soloist 3X Grand Tourer. Active cooling allows the Soloist 3X Grand Tourer to be pushed to its performance limit because every component operates in a predetermined temperature range regardless of the surroundings. The engineers at Burson Audio created a new enclosure with increased stiffness and reduced resonance to remove wind noise. Wind noise is below 25dBA when this resonance-free enclosure is combined with the quietest fan money can buy from Noctua in Austria. As a result, the Soloist 3X Grand Tourer is quieter. 

Burson added a much superior Cool Case on this one, which is much better at heat dissipation. On the surface, it appears similar to its all-in-one sister, the Conductor 3X Performance. Burson rebuilt its case from the ground up, making the most of every interior square inch. It's packed with some of the best components and housed in a gleaming aluminium shell. Its fins increased its surface area, acting as a massive heat sink for its eight output transistors. All the screws on Burson's rear panel are hidden, giving it a significantly cleaner appearance. Naturally, the case was machined using a CNC machine, revealing the raw aluminium finish that complements the device perfectly. It has some good rubber feet underneath it. Soloist 3X Grand Tourer has an elegant build that gives you the confidence of a device lasting for the years to come.
