The Burson Cool Case already has the largest heat sink of any headphone amplifier that dissipates heat, increasing the service life of the amplifier. Despite this, Burson Audio engineers chose active cooling for the Soloist 3X Grand Tourer. Active cooling allows the Soloist 3X Grand Tourer to be pushed to its performance limit because every component operates in a predetermined temperature range regardless of the surroundings. The engineers at Burson Audio created a new enclosure with increased stiffness and reduced resonance to remove wind noise.
