MOONDROP INTRODUCES THE ANTI-CLOGGING FILTER/DAMPER, THE IDEAL REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR CLOGGED FILTERS
Moondrop has its design filters that come preinstalled with its in-ear monitors. The problem with filters is that they accumulate dust and ear wax after; a period of usage. Due to the air's dampness, earwax and dust collect on the filter nozzle and cause channel imbalance problems. Moondrop has introduced its filters to overcome these problems. Moondrop, in contrast to other IEM manufacturers on the market, combines an acoustical damper and filter into a single unit to allow for accurate frequency response customization. Its inner dampener is susceptible to earwax or vapour contamination, which leads to channel/volume imbalance. Moondrop created a new, triple-layer anti-clogging filter/damper to address this issue. It significantly lowers the possibility of clogging problems that result in volume imbalance.
NOTE: All Moondrop products finished after April 2020 will come with this filter. Due to the special; design of Moondrop filters, they don't recommend any after-market filters as they may cause acoustical degradation.
