FEATURES DUAL DYNAMIC DRIVERS THAT DELIVER A THUNDEROUS BASS RESPONSE
7HZ has incorporated dual dynamic driver configuration with their Legato. The pair houses a combination of 12mm and 6mm Dynamic driver units on each side. The 12mm woofer driver adopts a customised multi-layer composite diaphragm and powerful N52 magnet for that meatier and textured bass response with a deep rumble and impact. The newly-developed 6mm tweeter/midrange driver adopts a double-cavity structure, a custom-made metal diaphragm with high rigidity and low mass for spectacular treble performance. Having dedicated drivers for specific frequencies allows Legato to reproduce full-range performance across the frequency spectrum. 7HZ Legato is an IEM that promises to deliver a brain-melting sonic performance!
UNIQUE CROSSOVER TECH FOR AN EXHILARATING SONIC PERFORMANCE
With multi-driver configuration, there arises a situation wherein the crossover has to be done with utmost precision to make the sound more cohesive and coherent. The engineers at 7HZ have designed a unique crossover for Legato that includes 8 Japan-made audio-grade Tantalum capacitors to provide a more coherent and cohesive sonic performance. The unique crossover is specially developed following the characteristics of the dynamic drivers. Combined with the advanced crossover technology and capacitors, the 7HZ Legato delivers exceptional sonic performance.
CNC-PROCESSED ALUMINIUM SHELLS FOR OPTIMUM COMFORT AND DURABILITY
7HZ has been known for its unique and futuristic design approach, and the Legato is no different. It features aviation-grade aluminium shells via the CNC process to provide optimum fit and durability. The faceplates have a beautiful threaded pattern that makes the Legato stand-out different from other in-ear monitors.
HIGH-PURITY CABLE FOR LOSSLESS SIGNAL TRANSMISSION
7HZ has paid equal attention while designing the cable for the Legato. It features an OCC + Silver-plated OCC detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable. The cable compliments the tuning of the Legato and gets the decibels delivered to your ears perfectly. The detachable design allows you to upgrade the stock cable to aftermarket cables for seamless connectivity and upgradability.

This is my first chifi IEM. Well, everything is fine. The mid range, upper mid range, treble is not sibilant and shouty. But but but.. the lower frequency the sub bass steals the show. I used Sony XB75ap earlier and I thought nothing can beat Sony, however, after using 7hz Legato after 5hrs of burning this was like I am sitting in middle of a concert. The bass ufff.. it could shake your head and travel down to chest. Wonderful product by 7Hz team. If you are basshead but like quality bass then go for it without doubt. Legato may not be much technical or analytical but the dual dynamic drivers does its job well. Its a fun sounding iem and will be loved by most Indian's taste of music Bollywood, EDM, metal rap etc.. Just go for it..

Huge bass shelf. Decent technicalities and average soundstage.
Burn in for the 2DDs is a must, app. 50 hours.
A rarity in a soundscape hijacked by the Harman FR.

Fit and Comfort are good. Using it for more than a month. It really needs a lot of burning for sound to open up.
Dark-sounding earphones. Good for someone who has treble fatigue. But you do miss treble sparkle. Vocal comes naturally, no harshness bit little veiled.
Both mid and sub-bass has nice feeling like listening to speakers with good fit ear tip. Not fast bass. Would not say it has lots of bass, it's just the right amount. The quality of the bass can be improved to get more fineness and details. You get a good punch and feel while watching movies. Soundstage, layering, and separation are average.

Review after 2 days. Hopefully I shall update a review after long term use.
Am not an audiophile, just a casual listener.
This is a beast in its own way which needs burning in of at least 12-18 hours and is still being refined.
This beast need an external DAC if being connected to phone. A simple 3.5mm phone outlet will not even scratch its surface in terms of its performance.
I am using it with iPhone 13 and the DAC from an old iPhone 8plus in Spotify. It givens immense quality in music, great bass and avoidance of ear piercing treble. My preferred tracks are rock and metal of 90s. Pink Floyd, Metallica, iron maiden, Godsmack, tools etc of such kind. This monster is build for that for sure.
It fit nicely into the ears, no ear pain or ear ache after continuous listening of few hours straight.
The connection wire is beautiful, like that of a twisted maiden hair. Oh mamma this baby is for rock and metal songs.
I don’t think it will be good for neither precise treble filled music or for studio works.

not the cleanest bass. but the bass hits so hard. EDM and drill sound good with these.
