Abiding by the CTIA standards, the Monk Plus mic variant is universally compatible with most modern-day smartphones.

Everything sounds great out of the box as far as an earbud goes but the treble is a bit too much for me, I had to tone it down a bit with eq. Does have good midbass and no sub bass which is quite ok for earbuds. Detail/resolution is excellent. Overall rating is 5 because of the resolution/clarity which can't be fixed with eq if it is not there. Would be great if they made one with a metal body and detachable cables.
I m buy monk plus fir my lg g8 thinq. And it's deliver excellent sound quality and details.
